chapter 31:- happy ever after only exist in fairytales

Over the course of the last few weeks things between me and Ryder have been amazing setting aside all the problems with Sophie and Josh, we're come out of this stronger and fighting.

Josh quit the football team, I dont believe he had much of a say in the matter.  Ryder was adamant he wanted him out.
I still see him on the odd occasions in class, but I arrive early to get the closest seat to the front just to ignore him. He finally got the picture after a week and hasn't  bothered me since.

Sophie however continued to bombard Ryder with phone calls, messages anything she could to get a hold of him. She will continue to do anything to ruin us that's for sure.

It's been a stressful week at uni with exams taking place, especially as it's only three weeks away now until we break up for summer. The first year over and done with, well in  my case the first few months as I missed so much of it.

Finally it's a warm sunny saturday and with all the stress of exams we both opted for a lazy weekend. So today we're planning on staying in bed all day eating junk and watching movies.

Pouring out a bag of popcorn into a bowl I make my way back to Ryders room. His now sitting up fully clothed compared to ten minutes ago when we we're both naked having sex.

"I got the popcorn, you ready to watch grown ups? I ask.

He doesnt reply, ignoring my question, his body in tense, his muscles flexing as he holds his phone in his hand.

"Babe, Ryder! Did you just hear me." I ask again.

"Sorry what did you say again?"

"What's going on? What's happened? Your acting all strange." I question.

"Nothing for you to worry about. " he shrugs.

"Please tell me what's going on? We were literally just making love and now your acting like this, what's happened? " I ask for what seems like the hundredth time.

"Its Sophie, she keeps texting me with loads of messages, saying its important, and that she really needs to come round and discuss something with me but wont tell me over the phone. "

"So, what did you say? "

"I told her ok."

"YOU WHAT? After everything she done to us, your willing inviting her round our house to talk and probably spin you another web of lies. " my angry now boiling.

"Bee it's not like that, If I didnt answer to her, she would keep on, I thought if I invite her round she tells me whatever it is she has to say then were done and she can stop with the calls etc. "

"Fine, as long as she doesnt try to start anything. Not after all the chaos she already caused. "

"She wont, I promise I wont let her. She said she'd be round in an hour or so."

An hour has passed and a knock comes from the front door. Ryder strides over to open it, welcoming Sophie into our home.

He brings her into the kitchen next to me and offers her a drink in which she declines.

" so what's so important you couldn't tell me over the phone?" Ryder jumps straight into talking not giving her a second thought.

"Can we talk somewhere more private, just the two of us please. " she begs him.

I turn to look at her but she wont make eye contact, it's like I dont even exist.

"Whatever you have to say, you can say it in front of Bee she my partner and we're a unit so what's up? " He repeats himself again.
