She followed Tiadrin and she turned around.

"Hello, do you mind if you show me around? I'm a bit lost." Tiadrin said.

There were crowds hovering over the goods and Tiadrin shivered.

Runaan turned around to give a displeased look, but then someone put their hand on her shoulder.

"I'll show her around Runaan." said a familiar voice.

He took her hand and pointed at the stalls.

"This is the market. The inns are over there, and the weaponsmith is on the other side."

Rayla pushed against the heavy crowd and followed them down the hill.

"Who are you?" Tiadrin asked gingerly.

Bird Rayla snuck under her arm.

"You really don't remember?" he said.

She took a closer look. It was really him.

"Lain! What a fool I have been." she jumped.

They both embraced in a hug and Lain pointed at Bird Rayla.

"She's grown. Moon Phoenixes are now extremely rare, so her feathers may be able to get you an inn to stay at for a few days. The innkeeper normally comes at sunset."

Tiadrin nodded and did as he said.

When the sun came down, the innkeeper walked down the line of inns, just like Lain said he would. She hurried over and handed him a batch of feathers that had fallen off Rayla.

"May I have an inn for these feathers?" she asked as kindly as she could.

"Are they really Moon Phoenix feathers?" he said in a gruff voice.

He inspected them and led her toward an inn.

From there, she laid in a bed in Silvergrove for the first time.
