I listened to everyone talk while I sat in the booth between Des & Nova, using my phone.

They were all high from smoking, so we all decided to meet at Applebee's after school. and by they, I meant Sev, Monte, Kash, and a couple of their other friends, whose names I didn't know.

"Tell me why, a nigga went to this bitch house the other night to fuck & her shit was stank." The friend with lighter skin complexion spoke.

"Nooo, Trey. You fucking dirty bitches?" Monte busted out into laughter.

"Dawg, stop playing. Then her shit was hairy den a bitch. She ain't even at least tey to tame the shit." Trey went on about the situation. "If shawt wasn't finna cut her shit down, she coulda at least slapped some gel on that bitch."

"Nigga, gel that shit down?" While dying laughing, the friend with the faded haircut pondered.

The waitress came over to our table while they were conversing and took our orders, beginning with mine.

"Your hair is really beautiful." The waitress smiled lightly, looking at my natural hair, that was dyed blonde and brown.

"But, hello, ladies. What can I get you guys started with today?"

"Aww, thank youu." The smile forming on my face began to expose. "Hmmm.... Can I get the bacon cheeseburger meal, with a side of mozzarella sticks?"

After giving my order, I returned the menu to her.

"Yes, ma'am. What could I get you today?" She looked over at Des.

"Watch she order chicken tenders & fries." I whispered into Nova's ear, already knowing our friend.

"Can I get chicken tenders and fries." Des briefly scanned the menu, before answering.

Nova and I looked at eachother and busted out laughing. One thing about Des was that she was gonna eat her chicken tenders and fries everytime!

"Girl...We are too grown for you to still be ordering chicken tenders & fries everywhere we go." Nova jokingly shook her head.

"Oh, but imma do that anyway. Imma do that anyway, cause that's how I am." Des remarked & pointed towards herself.

When Nova had completed her food order, the waitress quickly moved to the boys' table across from ours.

As the waitress approached our table to take our order, I covered my face by putting my head down.

To be honest, I was not in a good mood. My head hurt too bad & I was hella sleepy.

"What can I get for y'all today?" She took out her paper and began writing the orders.

After the boys had placed their orders, it was my turn.

"Hey Sev. Long time no see..." She talked with the happiest smile on her face, as she approached me. "What could I get for you today?"
