"Lani, what is wrong witchu?" Malayah noticed her look forward while sitting at the end of her bed.

Although Lani was rubbing her eye tiredly, she knew that her mom would force her to completely get up soon.

Her last day of preschool was today, and she would soon begin kindergarten.

"Mommy, I'm just tired." Lani said in a low, raspy voice. "I don't want to go to school."

"Lani, we go over this every morning." Malayah spoke.

"No, cus' you always wake me up early, and I'm tired." Lani whined while wiping her tears beginning to form.

"But, Lani, you have to go to school." She ignored Malayah's attempts to speak to her and shook her head.

"I don't wanna go to school, Mommy." Lani was fully crying now.

"You don't wanna party and see your friends for the last day?" Malayah asked. "It's the last day, Pooh."

"No." Lani shook her head instantly.

Malayah grasped Lani's hand and led her into her room's bathroom.

Lani had decorations from the movie "Frozen" all throughout her bathroom, which she had picked.

Malayah grabbed Lani's toothbrush and soaked it before covering it in toothpaste.

"Daddy." Lani reached out for him so that he could pick her up.

He approached Malayah from behind and kissed her, making Lani glare at them in disgust.

After Lani turned Bando's head away from Malayah's and towards her own, he chuckled.

"What's the matter? Why I hear you being a crybaby from all the way inna room?" Bando questioned and Lani straight faced him.

"Cus', I don't want to go to school." Lani grew irritated all over again.

"Why? I thought you liked school, mama."

"I'm sleepy though, Da." Lani watched him place her back onto the countertop.

"Because, you don't go to sleep at night." Bando remarked. "You stay up late sneaking to play Roblox."

"And now you have to go to school." After speaking, Malayah gave Lani the toothbrush.

As her parents looked on, Lani began to brush her teeth while she looked over it.

"Why do they have to do this so earlyy?" While rinsing her mouth, Lani questioned.

"Everybody have to wake up early and go
to school. Not just you, Lani." Malayah remarked.

"But, Mommy." Lani shook her head. "Sky and Tru don't go to school early."

"She keep going to sleep and wake up when she want to." Lani told.

"She wakes up around the same time as you everyday. She just goes to daycare." Malayah passed Lani her mouthwash cup.

Lani put it to use by swishing it around in her mouth.
