"Well, are y'all okay now?" Kim asked her granddaughter's over the phone call they'd been on for about thirty minutes.

"Yea, I used milk and that helped a lot." Brook replied with an answer.

"They jumped me and still ain't really do no damage." Nia chuckled beside Brooklyn in the guest room bed, where they were both lying. "All I got is a scratch above my eyebrow."

"That's good. We'll have to file a police report asap to let them know what happened because it's not right." Kim shook her head, before munching the Lay's Classic Potato Chips that were sitting in her lap.

Brooklyn knew there was no point in filling out the police report because Seven and the rest of the boys had most likely fixed the problem by now.

The boys left hours after calming Brook, Nia, and Des all the way down, and they'd been gone ever since.

Seven brought Brooklyn and Nia back to his personal house and told Brook to wait there for him so that she could sleep with him tonight. Brook didn't want to wait by herself, so she asked Nia to come and he said yes.

He really didn't want her to leave his side after what had happened, but he knew he had other things to deal with since he wasn't going to let what had happened go. Besides, he loved sleeping under Brooklyn. He felt it made him feel more calmer and more sane whenever he did lay under her.

"Okay, I'll do that with Des and Nia tomorrow." Brooklyn yawned and pulled the blanket over her somewhat bare body, since she was beginning to get cold due to Seven's house thermostat being set at 55 degrees.

"Alright, Pumpkin. I'a be going to bed soon, so y'all have a goodnight and I love y'all."

"Goodnight, and I love you too." Brooklyn and Nia both replied back in unison.

Brooklyn hung up the phone after the last sentence and made herself more comfortable in Seven's bed— but she couldn't become too comfy because Seven wasn't beside her to sleep.

"I'm finna go in the other room, one of my lil yea's calling me." Nia giggled and stood up from the bed, with her phone ringing in her hand.

"Okay." Brook smirked and watched Nia walk out the room, making sure to shut it on her way out.

The time was 10:23 a.m., and Brook had already showered and done the rest of her hygiene routine, but she still couldn't fall asleep.

She would sometimes stay up all night because she couldn't sleep, then go to bed around 4 a.m. and wake up early the next day. Her body just wouldn't let her sleep at times and at others it would make her sleep all the time.

Brooklyn was brought back to reality from her daydream by the ding of her phone, which indicated that she had received an iMessage.
