"Daddy!" Brooklyn shouted as she entered the house.

Sy'Eir shuffled his way to the doorway and opened his arms for her to pick him up.

He was carried by Brooklyn and placed on her hip.

"Butta, whatchu doing in here by yo self?" Brooklyn gave him a cheek kiss as she watched him start to snicker.

Brooklyn continued into the house and glanced into the kitchen, where she saw a number of foil pans filled with food.

"It smell good in heree." Brooklyn looked over the countertop.

After a little wait, Yasmine entered the kitchen while wearing her naturally curly hair in a bun.

"Hi, Brook." Yasmine gave her a wave.

"Heyy." Brooklyn smiled and hugged her on the side.

"You hungry? I'm in here cooking." As she walked over to the stove to stir the food, Yasmine spoke.

"I see." Sy'Eir was cuddled by Brooklyn as she set him down on the counter. "I was just saying it smelt good in here."

"But, yeah." Brooklyn nodded

"Thank you, you want your plate now?"

"Yess." Brooklyn answered.

She was hoping the food was ready because she was really hungry right now.

Santana approached Brooklyn while she was sitting in her chair and touched her shoulder.

"Wassup, Babygirl."

"Hi." Brooklyn gave him a hug in return, and he kissed her temple.

Brook accepted Yasmine's plate and thanked her.

"You came over here to eat?" Santana chuckled as he sat down next to Brook in the chair.

"And if I didd?" Both Yasmine and Brook laughed.

"Right." Yasmine backed her up. "She can come get a plate. Brook know she's welcome whenever."

"Period." Brooklyn said as she enjoyed her pork chop.

"Y'all not finna be teaming up on me. The hell." Santana eyed the two before laughing. "Sy, what they thought, man?"

Santana grabbed Sy'Eir from Brook while Brook ate through her meal quickly.

"That boy ain't feeding you?" Santana looked across at Brook and questioned. "Grab her a cold drink from the icebox, Yas."

Seven and Santana met at least twice during those few months as Santana started to circle back around.

Despite the fact that they didn't have a history of hate, they always kept their sentences brief.
