📍STL – MO📍When Seven felt a heavy movement next to him, his eyes fluttered open, causing him toss and turn in his sleep until he eventually woke up.
He grabbed his phone that was in the bed somewhere and turned the power button on, watching the bright light hit his eyes.
Seven turned the brightness down on his phone and looked at the time seeing it was 5:45 A.M.
He turned the flashlight on his phone on, but to the lowest setting and flashed it on Brooklyn, since the room was pitch black.
He could see that she had moved away from him and was now positioned further on the bed's edge. Her body trembled, and she sniffled in her sleep, with her body curled into a ball.
Seven immediately brought her closer to him when he heard her crying and comforted her.
Brooklyn's eyes started to widen as she felt Seven leaning against the headboard and a large pair of hands rubbing up and down her lower back repeatedly.
"What's wrong?" Seven moved her long natural hair, from her face and wiped the tears from her face, "Why you crying, ma?"
Brooklyn moved from his arms and sat on the edge of the bed, with her back facing towards Seven and her hands rubbing down her wet face.
"Nothing.. It's probably just sweat." Brooklyn murmured, with her hands still over her face.
Seven stared at her back, trying to listen to her voice. Most of the time he could tell when someone was lying, but Brooklyn was once specific person he could tell with. He always studied her, everything about her.
"Brooklyn.." Seven said, in his deep raspy voice.
He was still kinda sleepy, plus he had a light on just flashing at her. He really just wanted to know what happened so that he could at least try to help her. He hated seeing his girlfriend sad and would do anything to try to make her happy.
Brooklyn didn't say anything, she just turned around, slowly, and looked at Seven, then bursted into tears.
"C'mere." Seven held his arms out and she gladly crawled into them.
Brooklyn sat in his lap, letting her tears out in the dark room, with just them. She would always do it whenever she woke up from bad dreams by herself, but this time she had Seven beside her.
Although she didn't want to cry infront of him, she couldn't help it.
Brooklyn would have them same dream about her dad everytime and it was horrific, but sometimes it would change— and not for the better. She would always dream about the day he died, but the ending would always change from the original..
Sometimes it would be her the one shooting her dad, sometimes her dad would be the one telling her hurtful stuff before he died, or even worst.. she was the one dying.
But this time it was different.. It wasn't scary at all, it was actually like he was trying to tell her something.
Brooklyn was thinking so much about the dream, she didn't even realize how much she had been crying and how zoned out she was.
