26) Overthinking

30 minutes had now passed since N left and Jimin was still mad at himself. He knew N would react like this yet he still tried to kiss her. All he could think of doing right now was to drink since he wanted to get his thoughts somewhere else.

He went to get a couple of bottles so he could bring them with him to his bedroom. He was just going to sit in bed and drink, and that's what he did for the next hour...

Suddenly he remembered how N was telling him that he should call for help if he got the urge to drink, so he decided to call Jungkook. Since he had been drinking more and more bottles for an hour straight he was starting to get effected by the alcohol, but luckily Jungkook picked up right away.

Jimin: "Hey...are you free?"
Jungkook: "Yes I am, what's up? You okay?"
Jimin: "No.."
Jungkook: "Oh...have you been drinking?"
Jimin: "I didn't mean to, but yes.."
Jungkook: "I'm gonna come over okay? Then we can talk about it"
Jimin: "Okay... thank you"
Jungkook: "Of course, I'll be there in 15. Try not to drink too much while you wait"
Jimin: "I'll try" he said as their conversation ended.

Jungkook hurried to get to Jimin's apartment and he sure did get here fast. However Jimin continued to drink while waiting for Jungkook so he was getting pretty drunk. Jungkook unlocked the apartment since he had his own key lmao. Jimin couldn't bother going to the couch so he was still in bed. Jungkook then approached Jimin.

Jungkook: "Hey"
Jimin: "Hi"
Jungkook: "Aww man.. it was going so good for you, what happened?" he said concerned as he scanned the surroundings. New empty bottles, and a lot of them!

Jimin: "I know.. but N was here today so..."
Jungkook: "Oh really? So she saw your clean apartment and stuff?"
Jimin: "Yeah...hahaha" he drunkly said as he watched Jungkook throw the empty bottles around and then dump himself next to Jimin in the brew.

Jungkook: "Why don't you give me that? I don't think you should drink more for now"
Jimin: "Nooo dude"
Jungkook: "Jimin you just cleaned your apartment and got rid of all the thousands of empty bottles you had laying around, you don't want all these new bottles to ruin that right?"
Jimin: "Riiight...you're sooo right dude"
Jungkook: "Then give me that cause you're already drunk you don't need to drink anymore okay?" he said as Jimin just gave in and gave Jungkook the bottles he was holding.

Jungkook: "Okay so, N was here" he said to continue the previous conversation.

Jimin: "Yeaaah how did you know?" he drunkly asked as he literally forgot that he had just told Jungkook this lmao.

Jungkook: "You just told me lol, so when was she here?"
Jimin: "Uhhh I don't know, she left like 2 hours ago. But she applied to school and stuff we got a lot done today"
Jungkook: "Oooh damn really? That's great dude, do you know if she got in?"
Jimin: "She did"
Jungkook: "Oh shit that's amazing, then she gets a schedule to follow and stuff, that's definitely going to help her. But hey, something obviously happened between you and N, you wanna talk about it?"
Jimin: "Yeah... well I tried to kiss her and let me just say I fucking told you she moved on"
Jungkook: "Damnnn wait you actually tried to kiss her?"
Jimin: "Yes dude but it didn't go well and I knew she would react like that so I'm stupid for even trying, now I've just ruined everything"
Jungkook: "Crap, what did she do??"
Jimin: "She stopped me and said we shouldn't do it and then she just left"
Jungkook: "Oh fuck, yeah that doesn't sound good. Maybe she was nervous or something I don't know, because I swear dude she's still into you I could tell when I saw her that one time"
Jimin: "But dudeee how could you tell though??? She's giving so many mixed signals and I don't know what the fuck to think"
Jungkook: "Well first of all her body language and the way she was looking at you, like bro she was practically begging you to do something, and then second of all you said she left right after she stopped you, and if it didn't mean anything to her she wouldn't have reacted like that she would've just stayed like nothing happened. She was definitely nervous so that's probably why she left"
Jimin: "Dude you lost me I didn't understand aaanything of that hahah, why can't we just get back together, this is killing me dude, and I'm pretty fucking sure she wasn't begging for anything cause we both know I wouldn't shut up about it if that happened"
Jungkook: "Bro... I wasn't talking about sex loool, basically what I said was that the reason why she left was because she was nervous, not because she didn't want to kiss you, you understand that right?"
Jimin: "Yeaaah, but how would you know?"
Jungkook: "Damn bro you're drunk, okay forget all that, basically you didn't ruin anything okay? I mean come on, now she knows right? So all you have to do is wait"
Jimin: "Wait for what though, you know she's not gonna do anything, and it's not a good thing she knows, she wasn't supposed to knoooow"
Jungkook: "But Jimin, how are you gonna get her back if she can't know you still love her? You did the right thing, she just wasn't ready I guess, so all you can really do is wait for her to be ready"
Jimin: "But how was that the right thing, I literally made her leave"
Jungkook: "I know I know, never mind dude we'll have this conversation later when your head is a lil more clear lmao, when are you seeing her again?"
Jimin: "Uhhhmm in likeee 3 days, but I honestly just wanna see her now you know"
Jungkook: "Yeah of course, but hey 3 days is good, then she has time to process what happened and then maybe you know, she'll think about it"
Jimin: "Think about what??"
Jungkook: "Well what she wants, what she feels, you know all that kinda stuff. But hey, you need to get your mind somewhere else cause this is stressing you out, so let's talk about something else" he said as he switched the topic to something else, just to get Jimin to stop overthinking about N.
