18) Who to pick..?

Weeks passed since Jimin and N had the talk and things had changed for the better. Not that their problems had faded, because they sure hadn't, but they knew they had each other if anything were to happen. However the hard thing was that they both missed each other, they're both still in love with each other but everything is kinda awkward now because of what happened, so who knows if they'll ever get together again.🤠😉

As for N and her bestie, N couldn't help but still be hurt but that being said, they had been friends for so many years and she was all N had left. N still updated her about what was happening and stuff.

Anyways, as for the therapy sessions, weeks had passed meaning Jimin and N had experienced many different partners by now, 5 different partners to be exact. So soon came the time where they would all get assigned to a final partner. To make sure the choice was right, everyone had to go to a individual session with the therapist to report which partner they prefer to get moving forward.

The day before they had the individual session Jimin decided to to talk to Jungkook about it since Jimin really wasn't sure who to pick. Obviously he wanted to be with N deep down, but what if she didn't pick him? What if she didn't want to be paired with him? The fact that she told him at she hates him till haunts him not gonna lie, even though it's OBVIOUSLY NOT true and he knows that too, he was just still kinda unsure what to do.

As for N, she didn't tell her bestie that they were going to pick the final pairs themselves because she already knew that if she ended up with Jimin her best friend would get so mad... N wasn't sure what to do either, but looking at it from a practical view Jimin was in fact the only person she truly felt safe with, so that would help her improve her anxiety right? And even though she doesn't want to admit it, she deep down really wanted to pick him so they had an excuse to talk again...

Anyways, as mentioned, Jimin was talking to Jungkook about what to do for the session tomorrow.

Jungkook: "Okay so, what you're saying is that you have to tell the therapist who you want to get paired with for the rest of the whole thing?"
Jimin: "Yes and it's stressing me out, I don't know who to pick and I don't even want a partner it's not helping me AT ALL"
Jungkook: "Mmm is there anyone you feel like you can talk to? Like I don't know, anymore at therapy who understands you?" he said, honestly knowing that Jimin secretly wanted to pick N be just didn't want to admit it.

Jimin: "That's the thing...because I feel like no one understands me, but maybe it's because I don't like to talk about my feelings to someone I don't know, like I haven't really shared that much with any of the partners I got"
Jungkook: "Then...that might be why it's not helping you? If you're not sharing your thoughts then how are they going to help you, you see what I mean?"
Jimin: "I do...but it's hard you know"
Jungkook: "Okay I'm just gonna say this, but there's always N, you know her, she knows you, and now that she knows you didn't cheat on her then maybe...you know😉😉"
Jimin: "Stop right there dude, I'm not picking her so don't even try"
Jungkook: "But why noooot??? Then you have an excuse to talk to her again, and what if she picks you"
Jimin: "What if she doesn't"
Jungkook: "Come ooon Jimin, who else do you think she'll pick??"
Jimin: "How would I know?? It's just not gonna work out, I'm not picking N"
Jungkook: "Why not? I thought you talked everything through? Then it should work out just fine, man you gotta stop acting like you still don't miss her"
Jimin: "I don't, and just because we talked about everything doesn't mean things went back to how they were before"
Jungkook: "So fix that, you literally have the perfect opportunity to talk to her and spend time with her again, are you really going to waste that?? I know you don't like to admit it but we both know you still love her, this is your chance to get her back! AND not to mention your chance to get better while helping her get better too, don't you want that??"
Jimin: "Fine...I do want that but-"
Jungkook: "Then pick N for gods sake" he said as they continued to talk while the day slowly passed.
