I whimpered in pain when I woke up. I was tied up to the ceiling. My feet and servo's tied together. The pressure on my back was to die for. I refused to show Brawl how much pain I had. The said mech strode in, smirking as he spotted me. 'Well, well... do you recognize me?' He asked. I glared at him. He pressed a knife against my chassis. 'What do you want from me!' I snapped. 'You have grown up to be feisty, huh?' He laughed, removing the knife. 'What do you want?' I snapped. 'You want me to come straight to the point?' He asked. I glared at him. 'What have you been doing lately?' He asked. 'Hanging out with friends.' It wasn't a lie.
'Yeah? What do you sparkling s do now a days?' He asked. 'Gaming,' I stated. Brawl eyed me, but I showed no sign of hesitation. If there's something I am good at, than it's hiding my emotion and convince people. 'Alright.' He turned away. 'What am I doing here? This against the law, if Ironhide finds out... he knows you raped me.'
Brawl snorted and turned around. 'You're not as weak as you were, huh?' He mocked. 'I hate you,' I snapped. He slipped me across my face plates. 'What are you bidding, Mirage?' He asked. 'What am I supposed to hide? You tell me?'Brawl narrowed his optics at me before placing the knife against my faceplates. 'Wouldn't it be a shame if I kill you right here and now?' He whispered near my audio. I shivered. 'That's a murder and that's a violation against the law,' I stated. He hit me again, 'you sound just like Prowl. Gosh, you Autobots are disgusting,' he snapped. I glared at him. 'You're going to listen carefully to me, Autobot...' he snapped. 'If I figure out you're doing something illegal, I will kill that little friend of yours and your father, you get that?' He snapped.
'He's still alive?'
'For now, yes,' he said. I looked away. 'Yeah, cry, Autobot,' he mocked. I snorted and shot him a glare. 'I hat exactly did you expect? That we would return him safely?' He laughed. 'We took everything from you, your mother and your father... your home... your virginity,' he whispered slyly near my audio. 'How did you cope with that?' He asked. 'Let me go, Brawl!' I shouted and wiggled but I only hurt myself. 'Nah, I think I'll keep you for some time.'
'Ironhide will come looking for me,' I snapped. 'Sure he does. Honestly, why do you put so much faith in a mech that's not even your real father? Are you really craving that much for someone to love you? I doubt it's ever been as close it was you had with your mom. I bet you still wake up crying at nights, waiting for her to comfort you.'
I glared at him. Brawl left me in the dark basement. I looked down at the floor. My tears fell on the concrete floor. I shut my eyes for a moment, remembering my time at the lake. I missed that time so much.
I opened my optics again. I needed to find my dad, before they would kill him and I would lose both my parents. I didn't want to think about losing them both.I had been having upside down all night and a big part of the day. Brawl had damaged my systems enough that I couldn't use my communication. Sucker. Several warnings started to pop up the longer I was hanging like this on the ceiling and pain increased as well. Brawl returned and started to beat the scrap out of me. Hitting me over and over again until my systems shut down.
Waking up, I was laying on the ground. Every inch on my frame was painful. I lifted my helm again to have a look around. It was dark and my frame was shivering. He had ripped my armor off, exposing my delicate and sensitive protoform. It was full of dents and nasty cuts. My panel was missing too, Energon dripped from my valve. I uttered a cry and crawled towards the corner.
Brawl however grabbed my legs, dragging me closer. I screamed and fought to get out of his tight grip. He beat the hell out of me again and forced himself upon me. When I woke up a second time, I was dumped somewhere far away from the city. Probably left to die. I tried to get up, but I couldn't. It was too painful for me to get back up on my feet. I sank back down and curled up, letting my tears flow.
I don't know for how long I laid on the ground. My systems were in a critical condition. 'Mirage...'
I looked up. 'Mom?' I smelled her, I felt her, just like years ago. I felt her warmth against my frame. She smoothed my pain. She was right, she would always be there for me, no matter where she is. I turned my head, looking into her optics. 'I am here...' she whispered. I tried to touch her. 'I miss you.'She flashed me a weak smile. 'I know...'
'If dad never got that new job, none of this would've happened in the first place,' I snapped. 'Shhh, listen to me...' I felt her warmth on top of my helm. 'It doesn't matter where I am, because I am always with you and I am proud of you. I just need you to tell Optimus about their plans,' he said. 'They won't believe me. No one does, they all think I am delusional. You're the only who believes me.''You got proof.'
I looked at her again. 'They'll kill dad... I don't want to lose you both. I still have hope to see him again, I curled up. 'Your dad would've wanted you tell them the truth.'
I shook my helm. 'No, not yet...' I whispered. 'Many bots are going to die... many already died,' she said. I glanced at her with teary optics. 'What if there's a change I can save him? There must be something...''They're nothing you can do...'
I lowered my gaze. 'What is going on, mom? Why is this happening?' I whispered. She reached out for my faceplates. 'I knew too much... just like you do. Your father was a spy... he didn't want to bring us in danger so we moved to the country side before you were born. We thought everything would be fine, until he lost his job and we were forced to move back. The Decepticons tracked him down... he was on something big but he never told me what. I knew a lot, but everything. Your father has served great mechs... he knows all the secrets around Cybertron. He kept in touch with Optimus and Sentinel for some time. He didn't want bring you in danger... he loves you.'
'You're a good spy too... you are just like him and you will do great things as well one day.'
'But how?'
She forced me to look at her. 'Like you have always done, following your spark. I have always known your special,' she said. I smiled weakly, 'I am just scared for the future. Without you, I am jealous with other mechs... With Bluestreak because he actually has his mother and father. Ironhide and Chromia are sweet, but they're not my parents.'
'Don't be scared. You'll be fine,' she stated. I wish I could believe her. 'I love you, mom.' She smiled. 'I love you too, Mirage.' I felt her warm touch on my cold damaged frame. 'It breaks my spark to see you like this. Especially because I can't do anything but watch you suffer.' She got emotional. 'I am so sorry.' I shook my helm. 'It's not your fault... it's my own fault.'
'Why do you never show up? Like this?' I asked. 'I am, every night I am watching you, making sure you don't have any nightmares,' she said. 'Really?' She nodded and rubbed over my helm. 'Your father knows he's going to die soon. Don't bring yourself in danger with trying to save him. He's too sick,' she said. 'Alright...'
I looked away. I was mad and sad at the same time. I wanted to make the people pay who did this to me. 'You need to find out what your father knows. He holds the answer to many problems. It can save lives,' she said. I sighed. 'Are you going to leave?' I asked. 'I wish we had more time.' I snorted and shook my helm. 'Don't be mad.'
'How can I not be mad! Look what Brawl did to me. They took you and dad from me! They will pay for what they did! For ruining my childhood and causing me so much! I'll murder them all, like they did to you! They will suffer,' I spat out.'Mirage, look at me.'
I glanced at my mother. 'You won't be any better than them if you do. Use your gift, save people. Don't seek revenge,' she said strictly. I uttered a scream in frustration and slammed my fist into the ground. 'I just wanna go home!' I screamed at her. 'With you and dad! Kaon has never been my home anyway,' I snapped. I glanced at mom, she looked sad. 'You promised me we would go home one day. You broke that stupid promise,' I snapped, brushing some tears from my optics. With a grunt I managed to sit up.
'And I am sorry for that. Talk to Optimus, Mirage. He can help and protect you,' she stated. I tried to hug her but I couldn't. She vanished in thin air and her smell faded. I shook my helm and buried my face in my servo's for a moment before I slowly hoisted myself up. I was barely able to walk, I kept falling. I suddenly heard a voice behind me.
'Hey, do you need help?'
