I pulled my knees higher to my chassis, watching all the other mechs in my cell. They looked scary and were picking on me for the last few hours. Some of them were Decepticons, but there were also a few Autobots. 'Hey, little one!' I ignored and looked away, trying to focuss on something else. 'How rude!' the mech grabbed me and slammed me against the bars. 'You better leave him alone.' I looked up. From the back, a mech from my age and size looked up. The look in his optics told me this is a fierce one. He looked evil even. 'Ah, our other baby.' The mech dropped me and with a groan I ended up on the ground.
The mech lunged the much older and taller mech, knocking him off his ped and punched his face over and over again before grabbing something sharp and cutting his neck cabling. 'Take someone of your own damn size!' he sneered. My optics widened in shock. The other mechs backed off and gathered in the other side of the cell. The mech strode over to me, looking down at me. 'You are a sparkling,' he snapped. I raised my servo's in peace. The mech offered me his servo and hoisted me up on single move. 'What's your name?' he asked. 'Dino,' I replied. 'Ah, right... I am Sunstreaker. Don't call me Sunny or you will end up like that dude over there,' he snapped. I rapidly nodded. 'Are you Sideswipe's twin?'
He nodded, 'I am. Hurt him and you are dead as well, get it?' he snapped, slamming me against the bars. 'We are friends,' I cracked. Sunstreaker let go of me and stepped. 'How did you end up here?' he asked, looking at the mechs and one he just seemingly killed. 'Uh, yeah... that's a long story honestly,' I muttered. 'Hmm.' I looked at him again. 'I killed someone on my trip to the city. I got caught and waiting for trial... someone wants to use me for the pits so that sucks. I just want to return to Sideswipe and reunite with him. How's he doing?' he asked. 'He's fine...' Sunstreaker nodded and restlessly walked around. 'I hate those stupid... idiots. That mech was mocking me off, he tried to rape me and I killed him,' he sneered.
'I have been there too,' I said sadly. Sunstreaker studied me for a moment. 'Really?' I nodded while he sat beside me on the ground. 'Yeah... a Decepticon, twice. My mom got killed by a Decepticon and I haven't been really treated nice by other mechs. Ratchet was nice and are Ironhide and Chromia,' I stated. 'You don't look like a mech to me that ends up here for murder or whatsover so tell me what you did. Maybe we can help each other,' he said. I hesitated but gave him and told him quietly the entire story. Not everything, but the big lines. Sunstreaker listened without interupting until I finished. 'Okay, that's a problem,' he muttered. I nodded rapidly. 'You think you can help me?' I asked. Sunstreaker snorted, 'of course I am, I am the best,' he snorted and got up.
He helped me back up on my feet again and looked at the mechs. 'In about four minutes, someone will check up on us and when they seen the dead guy, the real show will begin. Follow exactly my moves and don't hesitate, clear?' He asked. I nodded while Sunstreaker grabbed my wrist and pulled me a little further away from the bars.
Sunstreaker was right, four minutes later a tall mech came in, also part of the police department. His optics widened in shock and he called for back-up whole opening the cell. Sunstreaker's optics had an empty gaze. There was no emotion. 'This mech is crazy' I thought before Sunstreaker lunged at the poor guy, slamming him against the ground. How's a mech from his age able to cause so much pain, death and destruction? Sunstreaker's face was covered in Energon as he kept continuously stabbing the mech. 'Sunstreaker!' The mech stopped and looked at me. 'He's dead.' He jumped on his left and ran off.
I chased him. This crazy yellow mech is my only way out. Sunstreaker had stopped on the stairs and grabbed my wrists, dragging me towards the backdoor. I had no idea where we were heading too much Sunstreaker seemed to know. The mech eventually came to a stop in an alley. 'I think we lost them, come on.' I took a sprint. 'We need to search for Jetfire. My communication systems are down—' Sunstreaker slammed me against the wall, covering my mouth.
I followed his gaze. Decepticons passed. An entire group. 'They're mobilizing and you talk to much.' He let go of me and peeked around the corner. I never heard a boy say that. 'What's your plan?' He asked. 'I don't have a plan. Telling Optimus was my plan but he allowed Prowl to lock me up. I am fucked up,' I scowled. 'We both are. You know what, why don't you follow me. I know a good place for the night and we can think of a plan and find this... mech you were talking about.'
'Jetfire. Cranky mech but he's good and we need him,' I said. 'Whatever.' Sunstreaker waved his servo and looked around. Let's go!' He ordered. 'You two ain't going anywhere.' We both froze. Steam emerged from Prowl's nose. 'Putting me into custody was a huge mistake and you know it! I am on your side! I am trying to help you.'
'You mechs gave to stick to the law,' he snapped. 'There won't be a law if Megatron starts a war,' I snapped. 'There won't come a war,' he hissed. I was on the verge of punching some sense into that mech. I was so frustrated right now. 'There will come a war... okay? You mechs think you can solve everything without a fight but Megatron is already building a large army and stealing resources. Don't you see the warning signs? I gave prove... I spied on them for years. I know exactly what is going on. Every ins and outs.'
Prowl snorted and opened his mouth to argue but a mech behind hit him. A decepticon. Sunstreaker lunged at the much larger Decepticons, chasing him away. Whatever the Decepticons intentions were, it wouldn't be good. 'Let's go before they come back,' he scowled irritated. 'No, wait!' The yellow mech halted. 'The Decepticons will kill him. We can't leave him here.'
'Own fault! He didn't want to believe you so he can deal with the fragging consequences.' I gave him a look. 'I am not leaving without him.' Sunstreaker gritted his teeth. 'Fine, whatever but you owe me something! Now let's hurry, I can hear a large group coming towards us and they don't sound friendly.'
