"Yeah, that's me." I say hesitantly, brushing my hair with my hand then slowly down to my neck. I look back into my head and try and think of who's voice that could be, but no ones name comes to mind.
"Good. I tried to phone earlier but you didn't pick up." He says.
"Oh yeah, sorry. I left my phone at home while I was out. Might I ask who's calling?" I ask, leaning against the wall.
"This is Frank, I work for a record label called 'Fueled by Ramen'. And your band has caught our eye. We're interested in signing you." He says. I freeze. Sign? Me and Josh? This is the breakthrough we've been waiting for. The chance to get to more people who need us to help them stay strong. Biting my bottom lip I process the fact that I'm still on the phone and that I actually need to reply.
"That's- that's great. Awesome in fact." I stutter joyfully.
"Yes. We've noticed your fans. You owe it to them really. They were the one of reasons we want to sign you. Because From listening to your music and seeing your fans, we know Twenty One Pilots is going to be something big." He exclaims. I try and wipe the smile off my face and reply to him but I simply can't. I'm overwhelmed with excitement. The first thing that pops into my head is Josh and his face lighting up with happiness. I could do with seeing Josh truly happy again, and so could he. I'd never really seen him excited or joyful since Aria had died. After that we all just stopped smiling and just mourned, but now I we have a chance to restore our joy, temporarily at least.
"Which is why," He continues. "Tomorrow night at your hometown show, we'll be there beforehand to sign you and then we'll watch you perform." He says. An even bigger grin fills my face. Sign us, tomorrow? I would've thought they'd watch us live first before signing us. It's all happened so quickly I don't quite know what to do with myself.
"Thank you so much Frank. I'm literally lost for words." I smile as I heard him chuckle darkly from the other end of the phone.
"It's funny most people we call to sign almost seem like they're expecting us to want them, but you guys you're different, and us people at Fueled by Ramen like that. And it's not me you should be thanking it's Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy, insisted on signing you." He says. Pete Wentz is one of the biggest names in Punk Rock history and he wanted us. I'm not so shocked but more surprised. I didn't know that any other bands had even heard of us, let alone Fall Out Boy.
"It means the world to me and Josh that you guys want us. So thanks again." I smile.
"We'll be at the venue for 4:00 to sign you. Goodbye." He says cheerfully before hanging up. When the line goes dead I take a deep breath. Being signed to a major record label means a lot more opportunities and challenges will be put on me and Josh. And we've still always got to live up to our name because that's part of the whole concept of Twenty One Pilots- making the right decisions.

I look across the room to a grinning Xander.
"Good news I presume?" I chuckles.
"It's Fueled By Ramen. They want to sign us!" I smile.
"Seriously? All the major bands get signed to them! Dude Josh is going to be so happy when he finds out! Man, you'll be up there with Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco and Paramore." He smiles, getting to the same amount of excitement I'm at.
"I'll invite Josh over now, I'm sure he won't mind walking." I say picking up my phone. I go onto my contacts and phone him straight away. I try to calm down as he picks his phone up.
"Hello, Tyler?" Josh says.
"Hello, Josh." I attempt saying casually but it ends up sounding as if I was mocking him.
"Um, Do you mind coming over. I need to tell you something." I say.
"Are you in trouble?" He asks immediately.
"No, no, no. I just...need you over here" I reply. I don't mean to worry Josh like that but I know it'll all pay off when he hears about the news.
"Good. I'll be over soon. Don't do anything stupid." He says before hanging up. He's always said that. Just as a reminder not to do something I'll later regret. When I heard it, it did help. It made me feel like someone actually cares about me.

It's about a 20 minutes walk from Josh to mine. And about 5 minutes if he drives. Knowing Josh he'll probably drive and get here a lot quicker just to make sure I was okay and out of trouble.
