We're all sat down at the garden table. There's only about 10 of us here, which was weird because I was expecting a whole lot more.
"You okay?" Tyler asks, looking deep into my eyes. I remember what happened to him the other night and can't help but imagine the sorrow in his eyes. I couldn't help him because I was weak, and now I can't tell him I'm not okay because I'm weak.
"Yeah, I'm alright."
I'm such a bad liar. He smirks at me as he picks up his ukulele.
"Are you gonna play a song Tyler?" His dad grins from across the table.
"Yeah! This one's for you, mom!" He smiles at her, standing up as everyone watches him.
"It's called house of gold..." Tyler says as he starts strumming. Tyler starts singing his song and I start to get dizzy spells again. I focus on Tyler's hand moving as he changes chords, but it just gets worse. It's feels as if something had exploded in my stomach, and it hurts like hell. I can't take this anymore, I'm going to have to say something....
"Tyler--" I say. He looks over at me right before I collapse bitterly to the ground. Everybody gasps, except for Tyler would throws his ukulele on the floor and bends down beside me.
"Aria...Aria! What's wrong?" He shouts. The shakiness and worry in his voice scares me. I grab onto his shoulders, as I shake violently.
"My stomach--" I manage to say before passing out.
--------------------------
[[[Tyler's POV]]]"Aria?!" I shout, even though I know she's unconscious.
"Tyler what happened?!" My mom asked. I look round at her.
"I don't know, just call a ambulance!" I shout at her, both angry and scared. I don't care if people think I'm overreacting, I only care if Aria is okay. I hear my dad dial and ask for an emergency ambulance to come to our address.I sit beside Aria's limp body, staring at her beautiful face, wishing her eyes would open. She didn't deserve any of this, she'd been through so much and suffered for so long, she deserved better.
Josh places his hand on my shoulder.
"It's going to be okay Tyler." He says. The rest of my family stand around idly waiting for the ambulance to come. I eventually hear faint sirens in the background. I shift closer towards Aria in fear they'll separate us.
"They're here!" Zack shouts from the front porch. Everyone clears the path as three paramedics enter the garden.
"What happened?" One of them asks bending down beside me to examine her.
"She just collapsed, and then said something about her stomach." I say, still staring at her face.
"Ok, we're going to have to take her in immediately...Please move back..." Says another paramedic. I hesitate, but move back nonetheless. I keep telling myself she'll be ok, but I'm best friends with doubt."Two people can come, but we need to be fast." He says. I look at Josh, we're the only people who really know her, so we follow them as they take Aria.
They lift her into the ambulance and give her oxygen. I hear them talking amongst themselves, they mention something about her appendix.
"What's going on?" I say, stepping inside.
"She's got appendicitis, and emergency surgery is needed..." say one of them as we ride off.
"It's ok Tyler, everything's going to be fine." Josh says, patting my back. I notice the paramedic beside Aria look at Josh doubtfully. This worries me even more.
"Whatever you say..." I mumble as I glance at Aria's almost lifeless face.
