Chapter 18: No One Should Know

We were in the LMSS auditorium once again.

When Julia and Keth spotted me along with Davian, they approached us with a smile. Cillian and Nina were with them as well. I was nervous to even talk to them. I couldn't believe I would be working with these famous people who make or destroy musicians' careers.

Oh, my God. What if I screw it all up?

Suddenly, I felt a slight nudge on my right arm. I looked at the person next to me. Davian closed his eyes and opened them again as if assuring me that everything would go well.

Dammit, he needs to stop being so considerate and caring.

"Here comes our female and male protagonists of season eleven," Julia chimed. "I am blown away by you two, I must say. B4U is so much better with this spectacular girl." She looked at Cillian and patted his back as she said, "Great choice."

Cillian nodded his head with a proud smile. "It's because of her, B4U auditioned in the first place. So really, all the credits go to her."

"But it's all teamwork, isn't it? Cillian, if you never suggested we audition, we never even would have known in the first place. Not to mention, if Jaxon, Declan, and Davian didn't support me, no way would I have made it so far alone," I couldn't help but let out. How could Cillian give me all the credits when all of us put an equal effort to get this golden opportunity? It wasn't fair to the others.

Keth looked at me with amusement. "She will do great with the cast. She is not just a beauty with talent but also extremely humble and down-to-earth. I already have a positive feeling about this season."

It wasn't my intention to butter up, but then again, I was glad they were liking me so far. Plus, everyone was full of positivity. I hadn't realized when my nervousness vanished completely.

"So what happens now?" Nina asked Keth.

"Let the other two members of your band come. Then, I will explain everything in detail."

"Will you discuss it here in the auditorium?" Davian asked curiously.

Keth shook his head in denial. "We are very careful in not giving spoilers for any season before the episode goes on-air. So once everyone from B4U is here, we will head to the confidential meeting room on the fourth floor."

"So won't we get any spoilers, either?" I blurted out.

Julia chuckled. "You will get them, but not all at once."

I furrowed my brows in confusion.

Seeing my confusion, she added, "Your every question will be answered once Jaxon and Declan get here. Contact them."

I nodded my head and took my phone to call Jaxon. "Davian, call Dee," I instructed, and he started to call him.

That was when we heard Jaxon's voice, "We are here."

I turned to the two boys just entering the auditorium. "Why are you late?"

He sighed. "I was waiting for Kiara to show up for practice, but it turns out she ditched the practice today." The irritation was visible in his voice.

"I wonder why, though," Davian muttered, narrowing his eyes at me, and I looked away. Kiara was busy gossiping with me, after all.

"What about you, Dee?" I asked.

"I was in the chemistry lab, doing experiments, so I checked the mail later after I was finished. But I ran here as soon as I saw it," Declan explained, catching his breath, obviously because he ran all the way from the chemistry lab, which was at the farthest end of the class building.
