Happy New Year! Sorry this story took so long to be updated again. I ended up getting a cold or a flu two days after Christmas and was not well enough to write. I'm still a little unwell, but it's not Covid and I'm about 99% better so I've gotten back to writing! ❤️

They got home 15 minutes later and Jen immediately went to her office. David chuckled, she seemed very excited in the car, which got him even more excited.

"Holy SHIT DAVID! COME HERE!" Jen shouted excitedly. David stepped into her office a few seconds later, looking excited but a little concerned.

"Babe a-are you o- what the fuck is that?!" He asked as he looked at the screen. Jen just giggled as she looked over at David "What do you mean what the fuck is that?! It's Clyde!" She exclaimed, her eyes BEAMING with joy.

David kept looking at the animated dog that was on Jen's screen. If he was honest, he didn't quite understand Jen's train of thought on this...Dog animation. He nodded "It's cute! But what do you plan to do with it? A TV series based on your dog?" He asked, now just being more curious and utterly confused.

Just then, Jen pulled up an Instagram page and continued to smile.

"Welcome to CallmeClydeo! We made an Instagram and a tiktok page!" Jen replied excitedly. David just stared at the page, then down at Jen, slightly concerned. "Do you need a hug? Cause I'm here! You didn't have to make an animated version of your dog for comfort. Had I known you were cracking this bad I would've been here - potentially in your bed - a lot sooner." He did his best to sound super sarcastic.

Jen just playfully pushed him away as she laughed "What?! You don't like Clydeo? It'll grow on you. I thought the idea was insane at first, too. Hell, I still do! But it's ME. If I didn't go for this I'd feel like I'm boring and missing a potentially great opportunity!" David shrugged but smiled, admiring Jen and her crazy side was something he felt thankful he got to do.

"Clydeo, huh?" David asked as she just kept staring at the dog, now growing to like the idea more. He then was hit with a realization and started laughing. Jen just stared at David - now thinking he was the one going slightly insane.

"I should go to the store and refill your alcohol from last night. While I'm gone, process this for me..."

He then walked toward the door, then looked over at Jen one final time:

"Remove the YD. Be back soon!" he quipped before walking out of the room. Jen just sat there for a second, processing his words, then it finally hit her:

"Cleo... God dammit, Jen." She said while shaking her head and laughing before proceeding to contact the company who made the animation to thank them and give her feedback.

David got to the liquor store about 20 minutes later. While in his rental, he quickly grabbed his facemask and put it on, along with his hat before proceeding to the store properly.

He knew he only needed to pick up a case of beer and some tequila, but he decided to grab a few types of alcohol, just in case Jen had been running low on anything else. He was looking at all kinds of alcohol for quite some time, picking out wines, scotch, tequila, beer, etc.

"I...may have overdone it a little bit." he said as he noticed his cart was filling up, laughing at himself but deciding to just go with it.

He reached the cash a few minutes later, the cashier chuckled.

"Someone is planning to get wasted, I take it? Don't blame you, honestly." She said with a warm tone, smiling behind her mask. David looked at her and blushed, feeling a bit embarrassed over him overdoing it. "Oh God no! This isn't ALL mine. Some of this belongs to my girlfriend. I'm just picking it up for her." He replied with his own laugh.
