The next couple of days went by in a blink of an eye. Jen woke up and softly groaned at the noise of an alarm going off. David lightly chuckled as he turned the alarm off on his phone and placed it back on his bedside table.

"Why did you have an alarm set?" Jen asked, clearly sounding displeased with the idea. David rolled himself over so he was facing her back before extending his arm out to wrap it around the woman's naked body, pulling her closer and smelling her hair.

"We've been up here for most of my trip since we went to go see James, I want every second of laying naked next to you to linger for as long as humanly possible. Can't do that when we're sleeping, so I set an alarm to wake myself up and admire you for as long as I can before I have to leave today. I did not intend to wake you up, and I apologize."

At that, Jen turned around in the man's arms and kissed him gently. "Alright, I can't be mad at that. I already miss you and you haven't left yet." Her voice was still groggy, but David just smiled at the Blonde haired mess of a woman laying in his arms. The sight of her first thing in the morning had instantly become David's favorite view. He leaned over and kissed her softly, making it linger for a few seconds. "I know. It's only been 4 days, but it feels like a lifetime. We'll manage, but it's gonna suck when we have to leave this bed and I have to sleep in my own tonight."

Jen put her hand on the mans cheek, gently feeling the stubble that had started to appear on his face. She wasn't always a fan of facial hair, but on David, it looked rather attractive. She kept thinking about the last few days and how happy she's been. She wasn't sure how it was possible that she was even happier now, or that this level of happiness was even allowed. It almost made her feel a bit guilty — with everything else going on in life being so depressing with the pandemic still in play.

She came out of her thoughts when she felt David kiss behind her ear, then speaking gently. "How about I go downstairs, make us some coffee and breakfast. I'll see how the dogs are and let them out, give them some food as well. I think we could both really use the fuel after last night, annnd with me wanting to enjoy the last few hours with you, may as well make the most of it." David suggested, pulling away from her ear and winking at her. She nodded in response before kissing him gently and letting him get up.

He got up and found his boxers and shirt from the discarded pile of clothes on the floor, put them on and went downstairs.

As he got down there, he noticed the dogs were already at the door, wagging their tails happily as they saw David approach them. He chuckled as he opened the glass door and watched them dash for the fenced yard, more than happy to know they were being let out to pee and run around for a bit.

They came back inside a minute or so later, and David had already filled their bowls with food and water. He turned and glanced at the floor as he heard Clyde's pattering paws run toward him. The man just stood there and laughed as he remembered the model Jen was sent the previous day of Clydeo. "Guess your mommy's favorite boy, aren't you? Having a model made that'll take the world's heart and absolutely melt it with its cuteness. I still don't quite understand her train of thought, but I just have to go with it. Yes I do!" He said in a cutesy voice before getting down and patting Clyde before walking to the kitchen and making breakfast.

Jen was in her bedroom, waiting patiently for David to come back. She took her phone and looked at the time.

6AM.

"I wonder if Reese would be awake at this hour? Probably." She said before opening her messaging app and texting her:

"I have to tell you something." Jen typed before sending it. Within seconds, she heard a reply.
