Elliot
I lay above the water on an ice cream floaty while the sun beats against my skin. My eyes are closed as I enjoy the cool breeze and the smell of barbeque on the grill. After being pregnant for six months, Ray has finally stopped making me terribly sick, and I've been eating like crazy.
My hips are expanding, and my breasts are enlarged. Baby girl weighs a little over 3 lbs now. I'm pretty sure she's going to be a chunky one when she comes out... like Camden. They are so precious like that though. Rolls for days.
I have three months left, and honestly, I don't want it to end. I love carrying a life inside me. Many people hate it because they gain weight or have body aches. I'm not saying I don't have all that, but I have two lovers that wait on me hand and foot. They love me regardless of the weight gain, and they rub my body down when I'm in pain. Having two is better than one, just like Camden said.
I'm carrying Ray relatively low, and the old wife's tales say that it means the baby is a boy. She has Alex's genetic makeup, and Al still doesn't know how she feels about it. Of course she will love our daughter the way she is, but I think she's afraid of our daughter going through the struggles she went through growing up. Long hair and breasts, but having an unmatched neither region. If anything, Rayden will have the best role model a girl could ask for. Her Father.
"Cannon ball!" Camden yells, jumping in the air and holding onto his knees as he drops like a bomb in the water. He's a big boy, so the water goes everywhere. Or at least it felt like it because I got wet.
"Mijo, be careful with mommy por favor," Josie says, walking over to Addy with a plate of food. It's just us at the house. No party. No outsiders. Just Mommies, Daddy, and the kids. Which I am grateful for. I love spending time with just them as a family.
"¿Tienes hambre Nenita? [Are you hungry, baby?]" I understand her Spanish now. She's been teaching me and the kids. The kids are catching on to it a lot better than I but I can understand what she is saying. I can also read and write it, but I cannot speak it yet. My R's just don't roll like her. Alex clowned me and told Josie to teach me French as well. That I might do better with that.
"Je ne suis pas [I'm not]," I say, shaking my head no. French was a lot easier.
Being able to finally understand what they are saying makes me happy. Except when they are arguing in one of the gazillion other languages that I don't know. They fuss sometimes when they don't agree on certain things, but it never escalates, and it's never in front of the kids. When there is a disagreement, we hold a parent meeting to sort it out, and we do work it out. I will have it no other way in this house, I make them talk, walk, hug, kiss, or fuck it out. Somethings got to give and let me tell you when they choose to fuck it out... phewww, Momma's always sore because there's no way I'm missing out on that action.
I watch as Josephine descends the pool stairs and swims over to me. Her breasts look amazing in that top. Since she's been with us, she's been less shy about revealing her scars. I find her scars and the stories behind them beautiful.
My cheeks flush red as she comes closer to me, swimming seductively. I don't know how she does it. It's more of the alluring looks she's giving me. Like she wants to devour my body like it's a double cheeseburger and fries. I chuckle to myself. Never mind, I think I am actually hungry.
She lifts herself between my legs on the ice cream float, allowing me to slide down it into her. I instinctively wrap my legs around her.
"What's funny Reina?" I wrap my arms around her neck.
"I might have lied. I am hungry." She smiles and starts kissing the side of my neck. Her lips are warm against my skin, and my pelvis presses into her to gain friction. She giggles into my neck, "Mmmm hungry for actual food?" Her tongue trails up to my ear and her warm breath against my neck causes me to rest my head against her shoulder. I would love to jump her bones right here, but our babies are running around the pool.
"Yes... food," I ultimately get out, but my voice is low and I'm really craving something other than food. She laughs and kisses my cheek.
"Okay, let's go eat." I hop off of her, and she takes my hand. "Papito, Nenita is hungry," she yells to Alex, leading me to a reclining chair. I sit down, and she sits in front of me. "Papi, me to..." She stops when Alex puts a plate in front of both of us. Al smiles, raising Josie's chin and kissing her.
"I know love," she says, pecking her lips again and turns around to get herself food. Josephine turns to me, grinning big.
"Ughh did that just turn you on as much as it did me?" she asks, and I nod my head giggling at her drooling over Alex.
"What does 'turns you on' mean?" Camden asks with his head tilted and barbeque sauce all over his face. Josie and I hunch over laughing, and I choke a little on a piece of shrimp. Camden always asks the craziest questions at the worst times.
"Príncipe you know how the sun is really, really hot and it bothers you?" He nods his head. "Well Daddy is like my sun. She makes me hot and bothered," she answers through strenuous breaths.
"Daddy is hot like the sun?" he asks. I am wheezing so hard right now!!
"Very!" we say at the same time. We can't stop laughing at his facial expression because he doesn't understand why we are dying laughing right now. Josie snorts, and it makes me laugh harder.
"Peanut don't listen to Mama and Mommy," Alex says behind her, trying not to laugh. "Josie, stop teaching your son that b.s.," she says, sliding herself to sit behind me. All three of us occupy the same chair as the kids are on either side in their own chairs.
"What's b.s.?" Adelaide asks.
"Bull Shit!" Camden yells. All three of us scream again, laughing our asses off as Josie spits her drink out.
Moments like this are what I live for.
