(by Milo Meskens, incase you can't find the song.)

I woke up as I felt that the bus stopped moving, I looked around as the driver wasn't there anymore. I started to panick and got out of the bus, flashbacks from home kept ringing. With heavy breathing I found the bus driver sipping coffee.

I sat on the grass making him come to me.

"you're finally awake mija." he said with a sweet smile making me look up.

"how long was I out señor?" I asked standing up.

" for about 3 hours, you looked tired, child. So I let you rest." he said patting my head gently.

What's this treatment? I've never experienced this before...

" A-are we in encanto señor?" I asked once again.

He nodded, "Si niña." I looked around, confused. " I don't see houses...?" he laughed softly, "are you strong enough to walk?" he asked. " sí." We started walking.

After a few hours, we reached... a hidden cave? I stopped.

"Estás bien?" (are you okay?) the old man asked. "um, where does the cave lead to?" I asked.

" well mija, you asked me to take you to encanto, right?" he said, wiping his hands to his ragged shirt. Me having second thoughts if I should trust the old man, I took a deep breath and walked with him.

I trust you  señor ...

Not long after entering through the cave, my eyes closed shut as the bight sun shined. I looked down and saw Colorful houses filled with various flowers, animals of various breeds, and happy townspeople helping each other rebuild a church. A sigh of relief, a tear escaped my eye.

" Well, this is my stop, mija." The old man said. I turned to him and hugged him, not long after, he hugged me back. " Thank you so much." I pulled away. He started walking and I watched as he shivered by the wind. I chased him as I handed him the ruana I was wearing.

" I dropped my money while escaping, I hope this pays enough.." I said looking down. He smiled warmly and pat my head one last time before leaving.

As I saw him completely disappear, I made my way to the village. At the market I bumped into someone. I looked up, a tear escaped my eye.

"Abuela?"  The woman faced me and hugged me tightly, I melted into her embrace, not caring If the scars I had hurt. We pulled away and she cupped my cheeks, Brushing my face off my hair that was covering a bruise, She sighed. " You're home, safe and sound, amor." She said kissing my forehead and took me to their house.
