The heat of the day kissed her smooth skin, waking her up. Her eyes remained closed, her head pounded, and her nose was congested. She shifted slowly to examine the room, and she felt a heavy pressure on her right side. She saw him. Camilo. Holding her hand, his head was lying on the small mattress. She'd looked at him tenderly for a moment, but she'd become frightened, what was he doing here?

She tried to break free from his grasp in attempt to flee without him noticing, but she was unsuccessful. He's still a restless sleeper. He sat up with a lovely yawn and half-closed eyelids, beaming at his lover. His wavy hair draped half of his face, his poncho was misaligned, and the charming freckles on his nose made his cheeks look more lovely.

" hola mi hermosa mariposa. " With his lids still half-closed, he let out a charming giggle before getting up and taking her into his warm embrace. They missed this. Their bodies were designed to be held by each other. He hugged her tightly as if it were the last time he'd ever hold her, and she didn't mind. She was content in his embrace, knowing that nothing awful would happen as long as he was there.

She had started sobbing on his chest without realizing it. A week in her father's care had been horrendous. She didn't want to die, she just wanted everything to stop. And he was there at that very moment. He'd saved her once again.

She craved his touch, his voice, his scent, everything there is about him. She pulled him in with her face buried in his chest. She may have left and lost him once, but she will never do it again. It's been hellish without him.

Camilo delicately lifted her chin and lifted her face using his index and thumb. With his other hand, he dried her tears, brushed her hair away from her face, and stared tenderly at her.

" Eres un ángel, mi amor. " He kissed her forehead, her scar, her nose, both of her cheeks, and paused for a brief moment before bringing her in for a gentle lingering kiss on the lips full of love, anticipation, and security.

" Amor, if this is a dream, don't wake me up. Please." She closed her eyes and leaned into his palm, which had been cupping her cheek, letting her tears flow, receiving a very delicate and genuine smile from Camilo, who murmured the words. " Let's keep dreaming together then, señorita." His tone was flirtatious, causing both of them to giggle and rub their noses against one other. If this was a dream, none of them wanted to wake up.

They'd go to great pains to be in one other's arms. Who knew their love grew so powerful and deep at such a young age?

Camilo leaned back against the headboard, feeling and sensing his heartbeat against her ear as Y/n laid on his chest. His arm was wrapped tightly around her, while the other was fiddling with threads of her hair.

" Since when did you get here? How did you get here? " she asked, trying to start a conversation.

" We arrived at noon, bonita. We'll be staying here for a month. Sort of like a family vacation. You know, away from the chores and the stress." he explained and kissed her forehead afterward.

" but Cami-" he cut her off by placing his index finger on her lips.

" I don't mind getting hurt nor involved, princesa. I love trouble." he chuckled as she punched his chest lightly.

" Don't worry mi amor, I'll be careful." he boops her nose. " I'd love to get in trouble to be with you, 'cause it's not living if it's not with you."

He then began humming a melody, rubbing your back and lulling you to sleep. He was singing a self-written song, which made it even more special. She smiled blissfully and fell asleep, feeling safe and sound in her lover's arms.
