Wonnie's point of view
Rin smiles as the rows of roses in my father's garden. School has been stressing her out as well as normal everyday things, I told her doing work in a different scenery could help. Since she loves flowers and anything having to do with nature I brought her here.
My other dad, Shownu installed a dangling swing for when anyone wants to sit out here. She takes in the sight of all the beautiful flowers and homegrown vegetables on the other side.
Rin: Mr.Jooheon is so talented, I've never seen anyone with such a green thumb.
Me: He saids back when they attended therapy my mom gave him the idea.
Rin: Wow! Your mom was their therapist before? Is that how they fell in love?
Me: I think so.Honestly the story of my mom and dads change every time I ask, so I just stopped asking. I think that's what's best so I don't end up scarring myself for life.
Rin: Thank you for bringing me here. I know listening to me complain everyday must get tiring.
Me: I'm your boyfriend, it's one of my jobs to listen to your complaints no matter how big or small. She turns a light shade of pink.
I look at one of her homework assignments and almost pass out. AP classes huh? I'm smart but I'm not that smart.
Me: No wonder you've been so stressed.
Rin: The work isn't hard.Oh really!
Rin: It's just constant and very tedious.
Me: I see.I stand up reaching out my hands, she giggles before taking it. We walk hand in hand a little further into the garden. Once we reach my favorite flowers I wrap my arms around her.
Me: Tulips are known to represent unconditional love. Meaning no matter what problems or complaints you have I'll love you no matter what. I'll always carry your burdens.
She's a crybaby.
I smile to myself as she she spins around in my arms making my shirt slightly damp.
Rin: Thank you.
We continue to sway back and forth practically dancing with no music, I spin her around and she smiles.
Rin: I love you.
Me: I love you too. Before my lips can make contact with hers water drenches us. Rin screeches to the top of her lungs and the sound of laughter follows.
I turn to see the two troublemakers.
My mother and Jooheon continue to laugh.
"Are y'all outside messing with the kids?"
They stop laughing at the sound of Kihyun's voice.
Mom: He's a hater. Anyways, we came out here to say we're going on a little trip.
Their trips never go well, but I guess.
Jooheon: And I was going to ask if you two could tend to the garden while I'm gone?
Rin: Really! He smiles at her excitement.
Jooheon: Of course, I'm sorry if traveling back and forth will get tiresome. Yeosang and Seonghwa are next door but those two could kill a cactus and Cina is always at her hospital.
Rin nods frantically.
Rin: I don't mind! I swear I'll do my best!
Jooheon: I'll leave it to you then!
Mom: I'm making chicken parmesan for dinner, come dry off and I'll help with your homework Rin.
Rin: Really? It's all AP work though. My mom chuckles.
Mom: I took those back in college too.
Me: You did?
Mom: Of course, Im not just pretty ya' know. I'm smart too.
Me: Now what that got to do with..-
Mom: Anyways come on in!I smile.
