Cina's point of view

Days like this are shitty.

I woke up in a bad mood and the weather isn't making it any better. Both my husbands are at work so it's just me. Treasure is in the cat bed curled up sound asleep.

Must be nice.

I have days where I want to cry for no particular reason. Whether it be anxiety or depression I don't know. I'm not okay and it's alright to admit that.

I'm not perfect.

The doorbell rings confusing me because it's ten in the morning. I open the door and my best-friend is standing there looking equally as sad as me.

I step aside and she comes in. Judging from her pajamas she came right over.

Santana: My spidey senses were tingling. Let's make mimosas then have ice-cream.

I nod in agreement.

We switch it up this time plopping fresh strawberries into our liquor, we clink our glasses together before chugging them.

The Nightmare Before Christmas plays on TV while we both eat out the chocolate chip almond carton.

Me: I wouldn't mind living in a place where it's Halloween all the time.
Santana: Me either, it's real dim too. Perfect for migraines.
Me: And everyone is ugly so we'd be the two prettiest bitches there.
Santana: Sally is kinda cute.
Me: True but her arm keeps flopping off.

We both giggle.

After that we watch Caroline.

Santana: Are they sure this is a kid's movie?
Me: Man it's some scary shit honestly, you ever got high and watched this? I couldn't touch buttons for a week.

For lunch we made salmon burgers with lemonade.

Santana: Then Jooheon and I started arguing, and when we argue he has to let the whole house know. Then Changkyun took his side which made Hyungwon take my side. It was a hell in a cell death match.

I chuckle.

Me: When it's two versus one I be in this house fighting for my life. Those two gang up on me like a bad porno. Though it is times when Yeosang and I tag team Seonghwa. I love for those moments.
Santana: Arguments in polygamous relationships are one hell of a ride.
Me: But the sex after?

We squeal.

Santana and I never mentioned what had us down but the more we laughed and joked it didn't matter. Having a bestfriend is therapy in its own sometimes. This rainy day turned into a very wholesome moment for her and I.

Me: What should we eat for dinner?
Santana: Won't the guys be home?
Me: Yeah and we're gonna' make them cook. Your monsters are at practice until late tonight right?

She sighs.

Santana: Yep, it's comeback season so I'll be having a lot of lonely nights.
Me: You're strong girl. I'd be grabbing my blanket and taking a nap right in that practice room corner.
Santana: That's not a bad idea actually. Our sons are so useless.
Me: Tell me about it! I called Hwasang yesterday to tell him about this sweater I bought and he kept saying mhm mhm mhm.
Santana: I told Wonnie I was thinking about dying my hair and he said again.
Me: God they're just like their fathers. Jennie calls me every other day to complain about Chenle, so I guess she's just like me in a sense.
Santana: Every time I turn on a vlive Yeonjun is threatening the hell out of his members so yeah that's me. Kai making jokes at the wrong time? Also me.

We laugh.

Me: Beomgyu being a menace? Definitely San.
Santana: Definitely!

The door opens and my two husbands stumble in. The sound of thunder makes Treasure dart across the house. Yeosang and Seonghwa sigh shaking off their coats and hanging up their umbrellas.

Yeosang: Hey baby, hey Sannie.
Seonghwa: What're the powerpuff girls up to?
Me: Movies and drowning our sorrows in food.
Yeosang: Sorrows? You guys okay?

We look at each other.

"No."

Their eyes widen.

Santana: But it's okay to not be some days.
Me: It's human, plus there's always tomorrow.

They smile.

Seonghwa: Look whose all grown up.
Yeosang: Steak, garlic potatoes and asparagus for dinner alright with everyone?
Me: For sure.
Santana: Hwa make your honey cornbread.
Seonghwa: I told you guys it was delicious!

I roll my eyes playfully.

Me: You're such a nerd but I love you.
Seonghwa: Love you too baby. You guys continue your rainy day plans and we'll go cook.

Feeling down sometimes is normal, it's okay to have those emotions. Just like how it rains to release, we cry to release, be angry to release, and so on.

Just remember days like this don't last forever.
