The next morning in Japan, Izuku woke up, still thinking about last night. He still had many questions on his mind. Maybe even more questions than before. He tried to forget all about it, as that blue-banded Turtle said. But there was no way to do that.
Izuku: 'How am I going to forget everything I saw or heard last night? What is going on?' - He thought as he got up - 'It is possible for someone to go through a mutation like that; without it involving a Quirk? How did those guys turn into Mutant Turtles? If they're trying to help by fighting those people, then why not ask the heroes for help? Who is this Foot Clan, and who is this Shredder?' - He thought as he walked to the bathroom and entered it to do his traditional hygiene, like brushing his teeth and taking a shower.
Izuku's head was racing at this point. He is a person fascinated by Quirks and an analyst when it comes to it. But he's also a worried person, and seeing those kind of people in his town who possibly don't have any heroes knowing this to help worried him. He wants to do something. He wants to help. He wants answers. But he was afraid of what would happen to him if he spoke. Well, the boy's head is racing. But now he had more important things to focus on, like his training with All Might. Of course, he would have to put up with one more day at that damn school, but he did. The important thing is to stay strong to achieve his dream.
After finishing his shower, Izuku goes to the kitchen and sees his mother making breakfast for the two of them.
Izuku: "Good morning, Mom."
Inko: "Oh, good morning, Dear! Sit down, the breakfast is almost ready."
Izuku sat on the table, but he still had those thoughts in his mind. He stared into space, his mind processing everything that had happened last night. Izuku was so silent that Inko even found it strange.
Inko: "Son, are you all right?"
Izuku: "Huh?"
Inko: "It's just that ever since you arrived from the market last night, you've been acting weird. Like your head is really in the clouds, or like you've seen something that makes your head fill with questions."
Izuku: 'You have no idea, mom.'
Inko: "Is something bothering you, honey? You can tell me if you want." - She said while serving breakfast, which consists of steamed rice and grilled fish.
Izuku: 'Should I tell her? No, better not. I don't want to make my mother worried or get her involved in something that has nothing to do with her.' - He thought as he looked at his breakfast and then at his mother.
Inko: "Son?"
Izuku: "Ah! It's nothing, Mom. It's just a silly thing, it's no big deal." - He said while eating a piece of the fish.
Inko: "Are you sure?" - Inko gave that look that only a mother is capable of, which made Izuku give a way a little.
Izuku: "It's just... Mom, what's the weirdest thing you've ever seen?"
Inko: "Like what?"
Izuku: "Like... people with very unusual appearances. As if they have all green skin and they wear combat equipment... and that, possibly, can speak our language and also another."
As Izuku described it, Inko had an imaginary cloud under her head and a hand under her chin, trying to imagine what her son was talking about. Until...
Inko: "Like an alien?" - Yes, that was her conclusion.
Izuku: "No, mom. Like a turtle."
