Chapter 67: The Raid Part 2: Mutants vs. Yakuza

Outside Overhaul's lair, the battle between our heroes was intensifying.

While Leonardo fought inside the lair, outside, the local police force was locked in a fierce gunfight with the Purple Dragons, who had spread out through the surrounding streets. At the entrance to the lair, police officers armed with batons and shields were battling and taking down criminals charging at them with knives, stun batons, or even their own fists. However, the true battle was unfolding just outside the lair.

Ten police officers, strategically positioned behind vehicles, exchanged gunfire with the Purple Dragons, who had entrenched themselves in advantageous positions on rooftops, alleys, and one of the streets, firing down at them. But the real advantage for the police was Rockwell, who was literally sitting in the air, in the middle of the battle, his mind completely focused as he created an invisible barrier that repelled every bullet fired at the law enforcement officers. The bullets seemed to hit an invisible wall, deflecting and falling to the ground before they could reach the police, who continued advancing cautiously, even with Rockwell's protective shield.

Rockwell: "Aim for their shoulders and legs!" - He shouted with his hands raised.

Following the doctor's orders, the officers fired with precision, slowly forcing the Purple Dragons to retreat as their shots hit the places Rockwell instructed, causing some of the enemies to fall to the ground, though there were still no signs of surrender from them.

Meanwhile, the battle between Ryukyu and Rikiya raged in the middle of the street. Rikiya, with his massive body and overwhelming strength, tried to grab Ryukyu, who also used her brute strength in dragon form to withstand his violent attacks. The two exchanged powerful blows that reverberated through the area. Every punch from Rikiya caused a boom when Ryukyu caught his fists, but she stood her ground, retaliating with her claws and tail, which the Yakuza either dodged or blocked, turning the fight into a brutal contest of sheer power.

Supporting them, Ochako levitated pieces of debris caused by the ongoing fight between the two. As she lifted them, Tsuyu used her tongue to grab rocks and her legs to kick them at high speed, striking key points on the giant's body to disorient him, trying to create openings for Ryukyu to attack, which only enraged the villain further.

Rikiya: "ENOUGH of thi-" - He was cut off when a shot hit him in the back, a blast coming from above.

It was, of course, Nejire, flying overhead during the battle, firing blue energy blasts that hit Rikiya from different angles, forcing him to occasionally retreat or shield himself with his hands before taking a hit to the chest, sending him flying backward.

On the opposite side of the battlefield, Michelangelo, Amajiki, Mirio, and Pete were still dealing with the massive ink dragon. The monster, a terrifying creation of Hun, charged at them ferociously, trying to crush them with its heavy paws and tail while attempting to bite Pete, who was flying around the creature.

Pete: "Hey, watch that mouth! Listen, you might be big, but you're not big deal! I might be small, but I'm not a small fly!" - He said as he flew in the creature's face. - "So you have no right to eat me, got it?!"

The dragon swung its head, trying to snap at the mutant pigeon. Pete deftly dodged to the side, flying in circles around the creature's head, where we could hear his wings flapping.
