Chapter 17: The Effect of Words.

In the stands of 1-A.

Kirishima: "My goodness... Todoroki's power is incredible..." - Kirishima was surprised by all that Todoroki's display of power.

Tokoyami: "As I thought. Todoroki is a fearsome opponent, without a shadow of a doubt."

Bakugou: "..." - Bakugou was shocked by what he saw, but soon it changed to anger at feeling inferior.

Tenya: "I wonder if Midoriya can beat all of this. With all due respect to our rep, of course, but I honestly have my doubts..."

Ochako: "By the way, where's Dekiru? So far he hasn't come back."

Tsuyu: "It's true. He should have come back by now."

Kaminari: "Oh, he really needed to go to the bathroom. You never know." - He said while shrugging his shoulders.

Back to our greenish man, he was still being hugged by Toru; that she was already feeling much better. But they felt a tremor in the stadium, which was caused by Todoroki's huge ice.

Toru: "What was that?" - She asked after feeling the tremor as the green one broke the hug.

Izuku: "I don't know, but I think it's better for both of us to go back to our classmates. But anyway, are you feeling better?"

Toru: "Yes, I'm much better! Thanks to you." - She Said while a cheerful tone while smiling, making Izuku smile too.

Izuku: "I'm glad to hear that. Anyway, let's head back to the stands to see the rest of the fights." - He said as he was about to walk to the door.

Toru: "Midoriya, wait!" - Toru's scream made the boy stop and turn to her. - "I want to tell you something about the boy who you will face in your next fight."

Izuku: "Shinsou?" - Toru just nodded while moving her body; confirming Izuku's answer. - "Ok, I'm listening."

Toru: "Look, whatever happens, don't answer him. During the cavalry battle, when I was looking for a team, he came up to me and greeted me; but as soon as I returned his length, my mind went blank and from one moment to another, the event was over. And the same thing happened in my fight against him when I answered him." - That information made Izuku get a serious look as he put his hand on his chin.

Toru: "Midoriya..."

Izuku: "Yes?"

Toru: "Look, I know it might seem sudden, but... can I call you Midori?" - She asked shyly while blushing.

Izuku: "M-Midori?"

Toru: "It's just that, Ochako calls you by that other nickname of yours, and so I thought... if I can call you by a nickname I made."

Izuku: "I..." - Izuku was surprised and embarrassed. That was another nickname he was already getting and it's a cute nickname...that came from a girl.

Toru: "It's okay if you don't want to, I don't want to bother you..."

Izuku: "N-No, no! It's not that, I liked that nickname. You can call me that if you want."
