Izuku and the TMNT: Heroes Out of the Shadows

Chapter 22: Hero's Name and... Something Better.

It's been a few days after the UA sports festival and people are still talking about it. And during that time, the students who were there took advantage of their free time to recover from their injuries and rest. And now, classes were about to start again.

On a train. Izuku found himself on a crowded train, heading to UA for another day to learn. Izuku was fiddling with his cell phone, watching the internet heroes news while listening to Mr.Blue Sky on his headset.

"Hey you. Excuse me, you're Midoriya from Class 1-A." - Said a man who was behind Izuku, not only catching his attention, but also the people who are on the train.

Izuku: "Huh?"

"You did a great job at the sports festival. I was rooting for you young man." - Said the man as he gave Izuku his thumb, while the rest of the car's occupants began to comment on him.

"It's him. The winner of the UA Sports Festival."

"That power he displayed in his last fight was incredible!"

"Even through difficulties, he managed to prevail."

"Midoriya is kind of cute up close."

"Yeah, and he's also strong."

"Keep doing your best, Hero!" - the people on the train said to the greenish one.

Izuku: "I-I-I will. Thank you all." - Izuku didn't expect him to start his day being praised by so many people. Sure, he won the sports festival but he wasn't used to it... and he felt he should start getting used to it.

A Little While later.

After getting off the train, Izuku was walking to the UA with an umbrella to protect himself from the rain. During that time, Izuku stared at his right hand. He was thinking of his mystical power.

Izuku: 'According to Master Splinter, I was lucky enough to have an individual mystical power, where I can access and use that power with or without the Tonfas. Just like Splinter and Raphael, who can use their powers without necessarily using their weapons. Come to think of it now, I've never seen Master Splinter wield a weapon and I doubt that staff is the source from which he received his power. If not that staff, then what is Splinter's weapon?'

Tenya: "Midoriya! Good morning!"

Izuku heard a well-known voice behind him, and as he turned around, Izuku saw Iida running towards the UA.

Izuku: "Iida? Did you go out with a raincoat and rain boots to UA?"

Tenya: "Why are you walking so slowly? We're going to be late!" - Iida being... the Iida.

Izuku: "Be late? But we still have 5 minutes until the bell rings." - Izuku had seen the time on his cell phone, and saw that they had plenty of time.

Tenya: "A UA student must arrive 10 minutes early. So let's hurry!" - He said a little before increasing speed, leaving the trio behind.

Izuku stopped still for a while as he looked at Iida running. During the rest days, Izuku learned from the news that Iida's older brother, Ingenium, was viciously attacked by the hero killer, Stain. Upon learning of this, the greenish one tried to contact him to find out how he was doing or if he needed anything; but Iida never responded to his messages or calls.

In the student shoe lockers, several students were there, taking school shoes out of lockers or just drying umbrellas. Izuku are doing the first thing while Iida put the boots in the shoe closet. Izuku turns to him and decides to ask how he is.
