Chapter 16: Firsts Fights, Firsts Victories.

Back to the Arena.

Ibara: "I hope we have a good fight, Midoriya."

Izuku: "I wish the same thing, Shiozaki." - Izuku remained with a serious and determined look.

Ready?!

Ibara clasped her hands together while Izuku stood with his eyes closed.

Izuku: 'Concentrate, Izuku... you can do it... you can do it...' - he thought as his hair covered his face. - 'Just concentrate and seek your victory ... show what you can do ...' - He thought as he opened his eyes, but without lifting his head.

Begin!

When starting the fight, Ibara made her vines go towards Izuku, trying to capture and hold him. The girl's attack made her classmates excited, while the 1-A class (apart from the obvious ones) were concerned about the greenish boy. Our young ninja had his hair covering his eyes, but he ran towards Ibara and managed to dodge her capture attack, making her attack pass through the boy. His action not only surprised the girl, but many people who saw Izuku's madness and courage to go towards her while the boy tried to capture him.

What is Midoriya doing?! He's running towards Shiozaki!

Still trying to capture him, Ibara made her vines try to catch the boy beneath him, but the boy's instincts got the better of him and he managed to avoid getting caught by jumping, barely escaping. Ibara tries to attack him in several directions with her vines, but to her sadness and despair, Izuku managed to avoid it by propelling himself with a little of the One For All applied to his right leg, causing the boy to get very close to the girl. Ibara tried to defend herself by bringing her vine hair back to her and using it as a shield, but it wouldn't do any good, Izuku was already too close.

Izuku wouldn't hit her, but he didn't want to lose. Then in a quick movement, Izuku pushed her with an open palm on the girl's belly, causing her to fall out of the arena, thus ensuring his victory.

Midnight: "Ibara Shiozaki has fallen out of the arena! Izuku Midoriya advances to the next round!"

Hearing this, the entire audience cheered, including his 1-A teammates All Might and the Turtles, with Michelangelo screaming like crazy as he stood up while pointing at the greenish one. Our Master Splinter, on the other hand, had a proud smile as he nodded his head.

With one move and one quick attack, Midoriya, from the Class 1-A, managed to narrowly win!

Our protagonist, on the other hand, was panting and shocked by the result of this. He thought he was going to lose, but he let his instincts, his body, and his courage do the work, and that secured his victory, oddly enough. Izuku looked at his hand so that he then looked around, seeing the entire audience screaming and cheering for his victory, making him sigh in relief and be happy while smiling.

[End of soundtrack]

Until he remembers his opponent and sees her lying outside the arena, which made him remember what he did and despair.

Izuku: "Oh my God... Oh my God, I'm sorry! That's my bad! Are you okay? You weren't hurt, were you?" - He said as he ran towards her and offered his hand, which surprised the girl who accepted her help.
