Rachel’s P.O.V.

I had no idea what time it was when I woke, I didn’t have time to glance at the clock on the nightstand when Vicky and Bridget came barging into my room.

“Rise and shine sweetheart, we’re going shopping!” Bridget announced as the door banged off the wall strolling her way over to the white curtains and tugging them open. Vicky was leaning against the doorframe as I jolted upright in bed.

“Hair and makeup’s also on the agenda but shopping works” Vicky commented, crossing her arms over her chest. Tate groaned snuggling further into my stomach with his arms wrapped around my waist.

“What are you-?” I began when Bridget made her way over to my closet as Vicky strutted over grabbing hold of Tate’s ankles to yank him clean off the bed.

“Oh what the Hell, woman?” Tate demanded, rubbing at the side of his head where a bump was likely to form. Vicky ignored him as Bridget called from the closet, poking her head back out into the bedroom.

“Um hello, day after the Council meeting, full moon tonight, any of that ring a bell?” she tried to get the ball rolling inside my head but I was too tired and still trying to fully wake up to connect the dots.

“And?” I asked looking from Vicky to Tate who had just managed to get back up on his feet then to the walk in closet where Bridget was tossing random articles of clothing out of the French doorway. Bridget stuck her bewildered face out of the closet and chucked a pair of dark wash booty shorts at me.

“You’re unbelievable!” Bridget exclaimed about to retreat back into the closet but paused to look back at me, motioning towards the shorts I had stuck on my head.

“Put those on” she instructed then retreated back into my sea of clothes, leaving me with still no answer to why they’d came barging into my and Tate’s room so I looked to Vicky who rolled her eyes.

“You forgot your own wedding day” she said and my face paled as my eyes widened and I pulled the shorts off my head. Tate obviously hadn’t heard a thing as he was too busy complaining about his concussion.

“M-My wedding day?” I stuttered staring aimlessly at the wall opposite the bed. To this Bridget came strolling out of my closet with a white ruffled top, a brown quarter sleeve leather jacket and a pair of brow gladiator sandals.

“Yup” she confirmed popping the ‘p’ and splayed the outfit out at the foot of the bed, shoving Tate to the side while she was at it.

“I’m getting married” I breathed, gazing down at my hands as I played with my fingers. Tate was about to snap at Bridget when he suddenly froze at my words.

“What?” he asked having been completely oblivious before. A smile made its way onto my lips as I met his gaze.

“We’re getting married!” I exclaimed jumping off the bed and wrapping my arms around his neck, causing his to instinctively wrap themselves around my waist in a tight embrace. Before I could properly hug him, Bridget had already torn me off him.

“Oh no you don’t, separation is the first part of the ceremony” she informed matter-of-factly as she shoved a white towel into my arms, wagging her finger at Tate “So you Mr future Alpha, can move on out that door” as if on cue Vicky whirled Tate around and shoved him out the bedroom door, slamming it shut in his face. I pouted when Tate started banging on the door.

“Hey common, no fair, let me in!” Tate was calling from out in the hall as Vicky and Bridget discussed certain colour schemes for something involving the wedding. They couldn’t decide to go with a dark crimson or pearl white.
