TW: Suicidal thoughts, suicide plan. Kinda really heavy tbh. Nicos in a really dark place

NICO POV:
"You've got to be fucking kidding me," I say, scoffing in disbelief. "They watched the fucking cameras and said that it was self defence, but I'm still getting 6 months added to my parole."

"I've been trying to fight it," Walker said, sighing in frustration. "But there pretty adamant on it, because you broke parole and used 'excessive force'."

"Excessive force my ass, I could have broken that guys arm off when I grabbed it like that. I could have broken his fucking jaw!" I argue. "All things they should know I am more than fucking capable of! Did they not see how he was wailing on me? Granted he was pretty weak but that's not my fault!"

"I know," Walker says. "It's bullshit."

"Yeah it's fucking bullshit! I have to go another fucking 6 months on top of the year I already had left all because some guy punched me and I fought back. I'm gonna be 18 by the time I get off fucking parole!"

"I'm going to continue to try and fight it, but I doubt it's gonna do any good."

I growl in frustration and rub my face with my hands. "This is such bullshit."

"I know," Walker says. "But it'll be okay, at least I talked them out of putting you back in Juvie."

"Yeah whoopde-doo," I say sardonically, though I am extremely grateful for it.

"That's all I needed to tell you, so unless you have anything you want to tell me about I'll go ahead and leave you to process this with your boyfriend," Walker says, moving to stand up.

"Yeah whatever," I say. "Bye, see you later."

Walker leaves and I try to sneak upstairs to my room without Will noticing so I can spend some time alone, but he has his bedroom door open so he hears the floor boards creak as I walk by.

"Nico?" he calls, I hear him getting up so I try to hurry to my room to close the door but he must have heard me speed up because he practically runs out of his room and slams his foot between the door and the door frame before I could get it closed.

"Accidenti," I curse. "Leave me alone."

"No, what did Walker say?" He asks shoving past me and over to my bed.

I roll my eyes but go and sit down next to him.

"I've got 6 months added to my parole," I grumble.

Wills face falls in disappointment. "I'm sorry," he says.

"Whatever, I want to be alone right now," I say not looking him in the eyes.

"I don't think you should be alone right now," he says. I can feel his eyes staring at me intently but I can't bring myself to look at him.

"I just need time to process by myself," I try to explain. "Please?"

"No, I'm sorry," Will says. "I'm not leaving you alone."

I groan. "Why don't you just trust me?"

"It's not about trust Nico," Will says softly. "It's called I'm worried about you, and while you can say right now you won't hurt yourself, I give you time to think alone and you might change your mind."

"It's not like I even have anything in here to use," I argue. "Feel free to search again if you don't believe that."

"I believe that, but you can get creative when you put your mind to something."

"Whatever," I snap laying down away from him. I felt him start to move towards me so I snap at him again. "Don't fucking touch me."

"Okay," he says moving back to the opposite side of the bed. "Let me know if you change your mind."
