WILL POV:
They ended up suspending Octavian so they could avoid a law suit, but Nico still refuses to leave my side. Even when we're at home. I never thought I would find it annoying to have him attached to me at the hip, but it is. I can't even get up and go to the bathroom without him standing out in the hallway.

It's only been two days so Im gonna give him a few more days and if he doesn't go back to normal I'll talk to him. I'm just scared that if I do he'll take it the wrong way and completely detach himself from me.

His head is on my shoulder while I do the homework that I know he's just gonna copy later. Why I'm doing the homework when Im the one with a concussion I don't know but Nico sure wasn't going to. I honestly don't think I've ever seen him do homework on his own, he always copy's mine. I accidentally elbow him as I reach for my calculator that I had thrown when I opened my book too quickly.

"Ow," Nico mumbles as he grabs the calculator for me.

"Sorry," I say taking it from him.

"S' okay," Nico says as he readjusts his head on my shoulder. He had been holding my arm too but I'm right handed and he's on my right side so I couldn't write like that. He's still making it very difficult to write though just from the weight of his head on my shoulder.

"Can you move to my other side, your making it hard to write," I ask softly, not wanting to upset him.

He sighs and gets up and does as I asked, this time taking hold of my arm and pulling it closer to him. Fine, I don't need my left arm anyways.

"Are you done yet?" Nico pouts sighing dramatically.

I can't help but smile, "Almost."

I finish up quickly so we can cuddle and as soon as my school stuff is cleared off the bed Nico tucks himself into my side. He rests his hand over my collar bone, his thumb stroking my skin absentmindedly.

"How do you feel?" he asks.

"Alright, my head still hurts and my ribs don't feel great when I move," I shrug, running my hand up and down his back.

"I'm sorry," he says for what feels like the hundredth time. I can tell he feels guilty for what happened, and no matter how many time I tell him he shouldn't he won't stop. "I should have been there," he continues.

"It's not your fault Neeks," I say softly. "You couldn't have prevented that, if he wanted to beat me up he would have found a way."

"If I was there he wouldn't have touched you," Nico says firmly. "I wouldn't have let him."

"I know, but you can't protect me from everything all the time."

He tightens his hold on me, pulling himself closer so that he's partially laying on me. "I can try," he shrugs.

I laugh lightly, "Your not invincible, sometimes I'm gonna get hurt and it's not gonna be your fault."

He sighs as he traces shapes onto my chest. "I'm sorry I'm being so clingy, I can't help it," he says after a few moments of silence. "I can tell it's annoying you."

"It's okay," I say, "Your just upset I got hurt."

"Yeah," he pauses, looking like he's thinking really hard about what he's going to say next. "It's weird, but just the idea of having you out of my sights again scares me."

I smile, "Now you know how I feel most of the time."

"At least I can take care of myself, you couldn't throw a punch to save your life," Nico snorts.

"Teach me."

"What?"

"Teach me," I repeat. "Your not gonna be there all the time to fight my battles, so teach me."
