I've worn a blindfold for as long as I can remember. The last words my family left me with were to never take the blindfold off. Then they disappeared. I don't know what happened to them. I know I had siblings but I only saw them once, all those years ago. I live with my Tío and although I call him Tío, he isn't actually. He's just an old friend of my family's that found me after they disappeared. From that point on, he has taken care of me.
The last time I had my blindfold off was when I was six.
When I lost everything.
Ten years later, I've almost completely forgotten what anything looks like. Of course, I take the blindfold off when showering but I just don't open your eyes.
Why would I? Those are the cause of all my problems. If my family didn't give me the blindfold, I probably would've gotten rid of my eyes myself. I guess this was a blessing in disguise, I got my Tío and something to hide those wretched things.
