The night was darker than usual. There was no moon in the sky, making the sky empty. But was the sky really empty? There were stars twinkling in the sky but they didn't really make any difference. It was still dark. Or maybe the darkness was just in Namjoon's life. The more he tried to get a hold of his life, the more it felt like slipping out of his hand. No place would take him in for the jobs because he already had three jobs and they thought he wouldn't be able to give his absolute best at the job. Namjoon wanted to scoff at them. It wasn't that the jobs were high profile jobs that needed Namjoon's 100 per cent efforts. He sighed as he walked back to the house. He just wanted to be a lawyer and deliver justice. Why was it so hard?

When he reached the apartment parking lot, he saw Jimin standing there and blushing in front of the guy from the morning. What was his name again? Ah, Yoongi. He didn't get the surname though. But that was fine. He can ask Jimin. As he was about to approach him, Yoongi leaned in and kissed Jimin's lips.

Nope.

He turned around and dashed to the apartment. Damn, that was going to be embarrassing. "I am home!" He switched his shoes with the house slippers as he headed in.

Jungkook smiled, "Oh, hyung. We just finished our dinner. Yours is in the microwave."

Namjoon nodded, "Thanks. Also, once Jimin comes back, I want to talk to you guys about something."

"Okay. I'll tell Taetae hyung." Jungkook smiled.

Namjoon sat down at the dining table. When he was halfway through his food, he heard Jimin coming in. His lips were swollen and his hair dishevelled. Namjoon chuckled and continued eating his dinner.

Jimin sat across, "Why are you laughing?"

Namjoon looked up and smiled, "Nothing."

Jimin scrunched his nose, "You are acting weird these days." He got up and went to his room.

After about an hour, All of them were in the living room. Namjon sat on the sofa surrounded by Jimin on one side and Taehyung and Jungkook on the other. "So..." Namjoon started speaking, "I went through a lot of job interviews and rejections. I also went to the orphanage, but after I read the terms and conditions, it turns out they are just loan sharks. Maybe worse. So I didn't take the money."

Taehyung hummed, "I am sorry, I didn't know they would turn out like this."

Namjoon shook his head, "It's alright. It's not your fault."

Jimin clicked his tongue, "So now what? You only have two days till the last date."

Namjoon sighed and rummaged through his bag. He took out a magazine, putting it on the table, "Do you guys know him?"

Jungkook nodded eagerly, "Of course. He is Kim Soekjin."

Namjoon nodded. He didn't know why he bought that magazine. Firstly, it was hella expensive. And secondly, he needed to save money. But he saw it on one of the stands outside the shop and couldn't resist buying it. "He met in Heechul hyung's cafe a couple of days ago and warned me about the orphanage scam." He hesitated a bit before continuing, "He also offered something to me."

"Something?" Jimin narrowed his eyes, "What?"

It felt weird now that he was about to say it out loud. He felt ashamed that he was even considering the offer right now. What else could he do? Seokjin was right. He needed the money. He closed his eyes, "He offered me to be his..." He sighed and gulped, "Sugar baby."

"WHAT?" Jimin's eyes went wide.

"What are you saying?" Taehyung looked lost, "Sugar baby? What is he? Christain Grey?"

Jungkook snickered, "No, but who in the real world offers a complete stranger to be a sugar baby like that?"

Jimin huffed, "So you can ask that to someone you know?"

Jungkook shrugged, "I mean if Tae hyung makes me his sugar baby then..."

Namjoon shook his head in annoyance, "Can you focus on me, please?" He took out the card that Seokjin had given, "He was really serious about it. He even gave me his personal number."

Jimin took the card and scanned it properly. "Oh, this number looks familiar."

Namjoon raised his eyebrow, "The number that's printed is his secretary's. He wrote his number under it."

Jimin took out his phone and typed the number. He gasped, "See. The number printed is of Yoongi hyung."

"Yoongi hyung?" Taehyung tilted his head.

Jimin nodded, "Min Yoongi. The person I went on a date with."

"Wow." Jungkook looked at the card, "What a small world." He looked at Namjoon, "But... Are you considering his offer?"

Namjoon looked at his lap, "I don't know."

Taehyung nodded, "I think it is up to you if you want to accept it or not. Just keep one thing in mind." He covered Namjoon's hand and smiled, "Whatever you decide, we won't judge you, okay?"

Jimin nodded, "Yeah. We know who you really are and accepting or rejecting this offer won't change our perception."

Jungkook nodded as well. They all embraced Namjoon in a huge hug, "We love you hyung. Just do whatever you need to do. We will always be proud of you."

The office was empty. Everyone had left the building after their shifts. Seokjin looked out of the huge window behind him. The sky was empty as well. Though there were stars, Seokjin still felt it was empty. Something was missing. He turned around and started working again. Sometimes he thought that everything that came to him was too easily given. He had a constant urge to prove himself that he was worthy of everything that was given to him. His ears became alert as he heard footsteps coming towards him. He looked at the clock. It was 1 o'clock at night. Who was still in the office? He got up from the chair as he heard three knocks on the door and then two figures came in. He sighed in relief, "Why are you guys still here?"

"We could ask you the same." Yoongi tilted his head.

Seokjin rolled his eyes, "Whatever." he smirked as he looked at Hoseok, "How was your date, Yoongichi?"

Yoongi's eyes went wide and there was a pink blush on his cheeks, "It was amazing. Jimin is really cute and funny. Sometimes he becomes savage and blunt. But I think that's an admiring trait of his. We are meeting again, maybe next weekend."

Hoseok rolled his eyes, "Can we focus on the problem at hand?"

Seokjin's eyes turned sharp, "What happened?"

Hoseok sighed, "The mayor ran away. I think he is going to join hands with Munsu."

Seokjin stood there with stoic expressions on his face. After a few seconds, his face cracked a small smile. The smile slowly grew wider and he started laughing loudly. He slumped on the single couch, resting his head on the backrest, hands splayed on either side. The atmosphere suddenly changed in the room and a chill ran through Hoseok and Yoongi. Seokjin licked his lips as he stared at the ceiling with sharp eyes, a demonic smile on his face. He huffed, "Aish, really! These bastards are gonna make me pick up killing again."
