The cold air felt refreshing. Even though it was hurting Gulf's nose and throat, it was better than being suffocated inside the hall. The hall in itself was lavish. He wasn't new to such parties and celebrations. Whenever they were invited, he had to doll up the best he could, be on his best behaviour and smile at everyone that he met and yet, he would always disappoint his father in one or the other. Nothing was ever enough to make him happy. And today, he finally found out what his value was in his father's mind. He chuckled. Great job there, junior. He said to himself. Get ready to be sold out to someone.

"Hey."

He looked back. The corner of his lips twitched by themself to smile at Mew but he controlled himself.

Mew joined him on the balcony, "Aren't you cold?"

"Did my father sell me off to you?" The question slipped from Gulf's mouth.

"What?" Mew was confused, "Why would you say that?"

Gulf faked a laugh, "Just messing with you."

Mew shook his head, "Your humour is sick." He took a sip from his glass and looked at the sky, "If he was going around selling you for business, I would be the first one to beat the shit out of him."

Gulf frowned a little, "Why?"

Mew raised his brows, "What do you mean why? That is just inhumane! I also have a personal reason but you don't need to know that. Yet."

Gulf was amazed by how Mew thought about this whole thing. He took a risk, "I wasn't joking. My father did try to sell me off to your brother. I heard him, but before he could answer, I left the place."

Mew's eyes went wide, "Wow! Just- How can he do such a thing?"

Gulf just shrugged, "It was my mistake. I shouldn't have come out to him. Should have been silent about it. At least he would look at me more like a human."

Mew shook his head, "It is not your fault. You told him who you really are and if he can't accept it, then it is on him, not you."

Gulf sighed and looked in the distant black sky. Suddenly something came up to him and he turned to Mew, "Phi... Let's get out of here."

Mew was really shocked. Gulf had been saying stuff that went bouncer to him. But the last one really caught him off guard. "Do you mean, like-"

Before he could confirm that they were on the same page, Gulf leaned forward and placed a small kiss on Mew's lips. Mew sighed against Gulf's lips. "Are you sure?" He asked once Gulf was back in his place.

At least I will be going home with someone I feel safe with instead of some old, creepy businessman. Was what Gulf wanted to say. But he just nodded, "I am sure and I am perfectly sober."

As the door closed, Gulf was pinned on the door and Mew connected their lips. Gulf gasped as Mew's hands went under his shirt, massaging his sides. The lips connected so perfectly, that Mew thought he could get used to this. He could definitely get used to this. Gulf's lips tasted like the vine he had been drinking at the party. They were soft like pillows and the sound of groans that Gulf made felt like heaven. Mew's eyes suddenly opened wide when he felt that Gulf's lips turned salty. He broke the kiss, a string of saliva still connecting them.

"Hey, Gulf." Mew cupped his cheeks, "What happened?"

Gulf put his head on Mew's shoulder and cried bitterly, "I can't..." Gulf was crying so hard that his entire body was shaking vigorously, "I am not a whore, phi."

Mew felt bad. He led Gulf to the couch and sat with him in his arms, "Who told you that? Of course, you are not." Gulf's head was on his shoulder. Mew's one hand circled around his waist and the other patted his head, "I never thought of you like that."
