The week was finally over and as he had expected, Mr Kim was in his office. He sat on the single sofa. Seokjin sat on the sofa beside him with Yoongi and Hoseok standing in a corner.

"What are you waiting for?" Mr Kim raised his brows.

Seokjin cleared his throat and looked at Yoongi. Yoongi shook his head. Seokjin internally groaned This little brat will get killed by my hands someday. He sighed and was about to answer when his phone got a notification. Seokjin took his phone and sighed as he read the message. He looked at Mr Kim, "We are ready, abeoji."

Seokjin had been preparing for the final attack from his side for weeks and now he was sure that he couldn't go wrong anywhere. He informed everyone to be ready for the pressure that was coming after he got the land. Hoseok was ready with his legal team and Yoongi was ready with his list of investors. Seokjin went down to the basement and sat in the car waiting for him. He looked on his side and sighed, "I don't want to be rude, abeoji. But I don't think it is okay for you to be there."

Mr Kim hummed in his heavy voice, "I want to see you succeed last time with my own eyes. I am leaving for Macau next week."

Seokjin's eyes went wide, "What? But I wasn't informed about this. If you had told me I would have done the-"

"That's the reason I didn't tell you." Mr Kim smiled. "I will announce it after we get the land. You will have complete authority over the JM group."

Seokjin nodded, "Okay." He couldn't do anything else anyway.

When they reached the building, Seokjin's guards formed a circle around the car. Seokjin was the first one to exit the car. He called his head guard to him, "Whatever happens, my family shouldn't receive even a single scratch. Do you understand?"

The guard nodded and went back to his position. Seokjin looked around to observe the neighbourhood. There weren't many shops in the alley except a convenient store and a few others. The building looked like it was abandoned ages ago. He went to the other side and opened the door for his father. No matter how old Seokjin's father was, he always had a glow on his face. He always looked authoritative. They started walking towards the inner part of the building. Though from the outside it looked abandoned, from the inside, it was more equipped and more bright. When they entered the building, as expected, there was firing at them. Nor Mr Kim neither Seokjin flinch at the shots. The guards took care of the enemies as Seokjin and Mr Kim kept walking toward the fourth floor.

As they reached the floor, they saw Munsu sitting on the chair and the mayor tied to a chair not far from him. Munsu smirked, "Welcome, Kims. Welcome to my den. I am impressed. You have trained your guards too well."

Seokjin kept a poker face, "Release the mayor Munsu. We don't need unnecessary media drama. It would be very hard to cover up for your death."

Munsu glared at him, "We will see who dies today."

"I am not very surprised to see that you are still the same." Mr Kim said, sitting on a chair. One of the guards must have found it from somewhere.

Munsu faked a gasp and bowed to Mr Kim. it looked more mocking than respectful, "I forgot to pay my respect to you, Mr Kim. How is your business going? How is your family?" He intentionally emphasised on the family.

Mr Kim smiled softly, "I am glad I have two sons who make my business work like magic."

Munsu scoffed, "You mean one son." He looked over his shoulder and Mew came forward. He was wearing a white shirt paired with a maroon blazer with a little flower brooch pin on it.

Seokjin chuckled sarcastically, "I knew you'll backstab us, Mew. I told you to grow up."

Mew looked at Seokjin with sharp eyes, "I have grown up. You just couldn't quit treating me as a child."
