Namjoon didn't know what happened. But one moment he was with Yoongi, helping them in Hoseok's place, and in another, he was with Seokjin in a mall shopping for... he didn't know what. They were in the same shop from where Seokjin had bought the suit for him when he won his first case. Namjoon didn't know the shop connected to the mall on the other side. He was sitting on the couch, waiting for Seokjin to come out of the fitting room. The simple reason Seokjin gave Namjoon for accompanying him to the mall was that he was taking Hoseok's place in the company and Hoseok always accompanied him to shopping. "He has a great fashion sense." Seokjin had explained. Namjoon wondered if it was really true or if Seokjin just wanted to tease him. After a few minutes, Seokjin came out and every single thought flew out of Namjoon's mind as soon as he looked at Seokjin. Seokjin was looking in the mirror, fixing his tie and cufflinks.
"It seems like your boyfriend likes this suit on you, sir." One of the employees commented, breaking Namjoon's trance.
"No!" Namjoon said before he even knew it. He cleared his throat, "I mean, he looks really handsome. But-"
"I'll buy this then." Seokjin smiled being content as he saw his reflection in the mirror and then looked at Namjoon through the mirror. His usual honey skin was painted pink due to embarrassment.
After trying two-three other suits, he finally paid for the two of them and told the staff to send the suits to his house. He took Namjoon and went to the mall. He looked at Namjoon as they were standing on the escalator, "Why are you sulking?"
Namjoon huffed, "Why didn't you make it clear that we are not boyfriends?"
Seokjin tilted his head, "Well, you were looking at me with such hungry eyes, it couldn't be an employee. And I like it this way."
"Huh?" Before Namjoon could ask anything else, they were on the floor where Seokjin wanted to go. Namjoon just pouted more and followed Seokjin around. When Seokjin stopped, he bumped into him. Namjoon looked at Seokjin with a worried expression, "Are you alright? I am sorry, I didn't see you stop."
Seokjin chuckled, "Look around and pick out anything you want to buy. Hyung's treat." Namjoon was shocked for a second. Seokjin licked his tongue, "Come on! You helped me out so much. First with Hobi and then at work today. You deserve to be treated."
"Anything?" Namjoon asked with large doe eyes.
Seokjin nodded, "Anything."
Namjoon raised his shoulders in excitement and started looking around. When something caught his eyes, he held Seokjin's hand as if they had done this many times. Intertwining their fingers, he rushed to the store that he wanted to. As soon as they were in the store, Namjoon navigated his way through the aisles and finally reached the section that he wanted to be in. Namjoon looked through the various shoes that were kept there. He left Seokjin's hand and went ahead to look at the shoes. He picked one of the sports shoes and then tried them on. Jumping a little he ran to test the shoes.
Seokjin looked at his hand that was previously held by Namjoon. You have become a simp, Kim Seokjin. He chuckled to himself and folded that hand into a fist. Maybe, if things work out in a better way, he would be able to make Namjoon his. The only problem was the way their entire relationships started. It scared him that one day, Namjoon would find someone he loves and break the contract.
"Hyung!"
Seokjin came out of his thoughts and smiled immediately when he saw Namjoon holding the shoes. Seokjin chuckled and went to Namjoon, "You really want that?"
Namjoon nodded, "I really needed new shoes." He looked down at his shoes, "These are on the verge of breaking."
Seokjin nodded, "Okay We'll buy them. Let's go."
