The auditorium was full of people. It was really once in a while that a famous lawyer took a guest lecture. Usually, they would deny or make excuses that they don't have time. Students from all over the department of law and order were going to attend the lecture. Namjoon came in early and he regretted it immediately. He heard Miso talking about how Hoseok was there because her father called him or rather in her words 'ordered him.' She was sure that Hoseok would know who she was and the extra credit would go to her. He just rolled his eyes and sat in a secluded place.

After a while, there was a murmur in the class. Namjoon looked up and found that some girls were giggling and staring at the boy that just entered. He looked like a foreigner. He had big eyes and the hair was parted from the side. Now and then he would move the curls out of his eyes using his finger. He wore a black t-shirt and comfortable jeans paired. He came in with his friends and sat a few seats behind Namjoon. It's not that he was interested or anything. He couldn't just ignore it because it was academic. He was wrong in some of his points but Namjoon chose to ignore him.

After a while, Myungmin and Hoseok entered the room and everyone settled in their place. Other professors entered after them and sat on their designated seats. Hoseok connected his laptop to the projector and sighed, "Good morning everyone. I am Jung Hoseok, alumni from here." He pressed a key in his laptop and the screen displayed the title. Criminology.

Hoseok looked at the students, "So, today I will talk about the intermediate offender. An intermediate offender is a person who isn't directly connected to the crime, but somehow, he is still connected. To explain further, I will play this video and then we will discuss the video."

The video was about a person who had given some money to a person without being told anything and he was told not to ask questions or open the bag. He had done exactly what was told to him because he needed the money immediately for his mother's treatment.

Hoseok stopped the video in-between and the lights turned on again. He cleared his throat, "So... The concept of the intermediate offender is clear to all. Now my question to you all is what should be the punishment given to him. Or in other words, should he be punished. I am giving you five minutes to think and then we will begin with the argument. Before giving your answers, please tell me your name, seat number and batch. Your time starts now."

After five minutes, Hoseok spoke again, "Okay, time's up. Who would like to start the discussion?" When no one raised their hand, Hoseok was a bit disappointed. Was the topic too hard? Was he not clear enough? He was about to make a different approach when a hand went in the air. Hoseok sighed internally, "Yes. Please proceed after stating your name, seat number and batch."

Namjoon looked back and found the foreigner from the first-year standing. "Gulf Kanawut Traipipattanapong, roll number 079, first year."

Hoseok looked up from his book with wide eyes, "Oh, you are not from Korea."

Gulf nodded, "I was born and brought up here. But my parents are from Thailand."

Hoseok nodded, "Your name is kinda long. What should I call you?"

Gulf smiled a little. The smile lifted his cheek muscles a bit high, making him look cute. He nodded, "Gulf is okay."

Hoseok smiled back, "Okay. Gulf, your argument please."

Gulf bit his lower lips before speaking, "I think he should not be punished. He did this for money and then again, the main murderer and the person who planned the murder were completely different. He was just a mediator that the planner used to not get caught."

Hoseok nodded. "Okay. fair point. You can sit down. Anyone else, to oppose this or in favour of this?"

A few hands went up and Hoseok pointed at Miso, "Yes, miss."
