Which are the six things about jiv and Shiv that every Sadhak must know?
In Uddhav Gita too, Uddhavji asks Shri Krishna how and in what respect, a Sadhak who seeks liberation should meditate on thee, feeling himself detached and being impersonal to everything, feeling your Nirakar Swaroop in every particle of universe. Paramatma told him that Sansar fascinates you with various means and you want to have everything, you want fruits of your work but all these, have a beginning and an end. They produce miseries and pains and will in infatuation. They give you momentous joys and ended in grief. When you give up your mind to me and surrender your senses in me, be indifferent to all the objects of sansar ,you realize yourself as a blissful part derived from me. Further..
Neither the position of Brahma nor Indra neither suzerainty nor ruler ship nor possession of regions, nor powers of yoga and meditation but only through the task of attaining me by surrendering your mind to me and pure devotion can help you to attain me. Hence you should know that Kshetra and Kshetragya both are inseparable.
विषयान्ध्यायतश्र्चितं विषयेषु विषज्जते ।
मामनुस्मरतश्र्चित्तं मय्येव प्रविलीयते ।।( उद्धव गीता ९-२७)
A Sadhak whose mind is attached to sense objects, is attached to Kshetra, the body but the mind of one who remembers me 24*7*365 days and nights lives with and within me has merged in me. Hence you should know that at least six things and they are as follows: (1) How does the Kshetra look i.e. swaroop (2) How does it get corrupt by Vikar? (3) How does he originate? (4) What is the impression of Kshetragya PRABHAV? (5) How does KSHETRAGYA look like?(6)What is the impact of KSHETRAGYA ON all the livings?
I know everything and about everybody as they are created by me it may be an ant, a moth or a Devta but you do not know as your memory is corrupted because of the illusion of Maya. Every Jiv that cannot speak ,knows and remembers his past birth why is he in this yoni as an animal, bird, plant or tree but you are the best creation of mine, you involve yourself in sansar and you cannot remember your past birth under the spell of PRAKRUTI. There are three dimensions of creation; the first is your body; as various bodies you can see in this sansar, in air, water and on the land. The second is my ANSH that blesses them with breathe and life and the third Swaroop dwells in this universe that creates everything; Sun, moon air and five elements, food and knowledge is; Paramatma SHWETASHWETAR UPANISHAD says that there are three forms of Brahma Purush-Prakruti and the third who creates birth and have control over everything. Among Kshetragya and Kshetra –one is the witness and the others are Bhokta in various yonis, which feel joy and sorrow, pain and gain .All the bodies have different owner. Every person feels authority on other persons as, Parents husband -wife, children .But the real owner of body is Paramatma .He has blessed us a human body to do effort for liberation. One can enjoy all the other bodily pleasures and pain in the various bodies from 84 Lakhs yonis on this planet. When you understand these three envelops all the universe you find that it is the Kshetra and Kshetragya, this is the answer of your first question.
Now, all the five Mahabhoot, ego ,Buddhi, Mind ,ten senses, five Gyanendriya ,desires ,envy ,happiness and sorrow ,patience and awakening. When acts and reacts internally they create VIKAR in Jiv, is the answer of your second questions.
All these are 24 elements in numbers, GANDH-smell, ten senses ,ego and intellect ,Buddhi are known as PRAKRUTI-VIKRUTI While ten senses, one mind and five Gyanendriya ,these sixteen are VIKRUTI. All these 24 create various bodies known as KSHETRA and Vikar is known by desires, envy, feelings of happiness and sorrow combination of body, Pran, Power and strength to hold them.
ENVY is emerged when desires are not fulfilled. It emerged from anger and jealousy Anger about not getting something desired due to own weakness and jealousy about it is acquired by others whom we think as competitors or rivals. As Shri Krishna says;
क्रोधाद् भवति सम्मोह- सम्मोहात्स्मृतिविभ्रमः।
स्मृतिभ्रंशाद् बुद्धिनाशो बुद्धिनाशात्प्रणश्यति।।(२-६३)
Happiness is felt when everything is accomplished as it is desired by us. Sorrow on not getting anything or not facing adverse situation or ups and downs in life
SANGHAT shown combination of all these twenty four elements seen as our body and in the forms of various bodies and all the changes that takes place in them are known as vikar.
While CHETAN is Pran Shakti when it is positive becomes SATVIKT ,When it longs for luxuries and comforts through senses and worldly manifestation perishable elements it becomes RAJASIK and when it takes form of worries ,anxiety ,fear, tensions and restlessness ;it becomes very low in strength as if a deadly feeing occupies body and mind to downward phase.
When Paramatma talks about KSHETRA he talks to see it as differently as we look of seasons, rising Sun and setting Moon .There is no worry in enjoying various tastes, beauties or tastes as they all are for the entertainment of human beings. Though all the jiv could enjoy and feel sorrow, only a human being could express them in literature. But to be addicted to senses is sinful. When we taste sweet dish, we feel good and on testing bitter we feel no good. It is natural; the knowledge of anything is not corrupted until we use it in unhealthy manner. If we could not recognize or differentiate tastes as sweet or sour, bitter or cold and hot, it is not fair. Essentially, the knowledge of tastes is a good sign of health as all tastes are needed for good health, it becomes the cause of diseases when you lose your taste buds and could not sense or identify them. In the same way being a Gruhasth we can enjoy every worldly pleasure but to be addicted to them or feel sorry on not getting them show attachment to Sansar and that is not a desirable sign on the path of Spirituality.
The next Vikar is DHRUTI –A capacity to hold on, a patience to face anything as different persons having different level of trio-virtues as SATVA, RAJ and TAM would react differently while facing the same situations. For example if you throw a stone to somebody, he may throw a big stone or a brick to you in responding your action, while the other person may not react but try to protect his body and move onwards...and the other person may carry that stone in his hand put aside it in the corner of the road so it might not hurt anybody. It can be a case when the same person may react differently in different situation by showing great patience and tolerance and sometimes getting disturbed in other situations.
Thus ,along with DHRUTI this human body isknown as KSHETRA full of VIKARS .Then how to overcome these vikars?
Let ussurrender to our great God and Jagat Guru Shri Krishna toenrich our knowledge and true path of liberation from ignorance..
