(529) Who is the real Karta when Paramatma is not doing anything?
Shri Krishna says, O Arjun! Just as the one and only Sun lights up the whole world the Kshetragya Soul enlightens the complete Kshetra. The difference is that the Sun lights up the whole physical world while the soul enlightens all the three kinds of Kshetra bodies-Sthula, Sukshma, and Karan Sharir. When the Sun lights up the fourteen Bhavan along with the moon, stars, fire, fire–glowing insects, and Mani glow but Sun never thinks of him as a Karta. Every action needs some medium or instrument to accomplish its performance, The Sun needs a medium of air and the soul needs a body to show his actions. Soul never thinks of him as a Karta or Bhokta just performing his duties, bare with responsibilities. Just as a Statue maker needs stone and a hammer to carve a Statue the same way Soul needs a body as an instrument. When our body is a non-living thing, just an instrument, how could it be a Karta or Bhokta? We see with our eyes and hear with our ears when we do kriya, our physical body Sthula Sharir takes the responsibility of performance. When we meditate or think deeply about any problem or ponder over something, our Sukshma Sharir works as an instrument. When we become inwardly steady or try to sit in solitude –Samadhi our Karan Sharir becomes the instrument. Sadhana and Vyuthan –awakening both need Karan Sharir as an instrument. It means that the soul is neither a karta nor a Bhokta because the soul remains detached from Sansar and Prakruti. A person who understands this secret of Karta and Bhokta becomes conscious of his limitations that he cannot do anything without guidance or the presence of a soul. The soul is the truth and the body is untruth. The soul is permanent and bodies are temporary. The soul never changes its swaroop but the swaroop of bodies changes according to the karma done by a person or Jivatma in different yoni. A Sadhak who wants to follow the path of knowledge should be free from pride and ego related to a perishable body. Thus the knowledge of Kshetra and Kshetragya is called VIVEK. A person who is full of true knowledge is conscious of his karma. He thinks of him as an instrument in the hands of Paramatma and he has to follow instructions given by his soul just as a string helps the movements of a puppet.
A person who acquires this knowledge could be eligible for Salvation. To acquire Siddhis of eight kinds is just the beginning of the reward of meditation. Only a single Siddhi can make a Sadhak popular in the world. He could earn name and fame, power and prosperity. Then a Sadhak who can acquire all the ASTA Siddhi could control most of the world. But the success on the path of meditation is not to have control over the world but to have control over self and control over ten senses because success in achievements of Siddhi leads a Sadhak's entire activities in controlling his surroundings, land, and people but according to Shastra the knowledge of controlling over senses INDRIYA VIJAY is considered as a great knowledge among all the kinds of Arts, all the languages, all the kinds of skills, all the types of Alphabets and all the kinds of Vidhya.
Generally knowledge of languages, arts, and skills, Shastras leads a Sadhak to achieve his goal in the world. He could be a great magician, astrologer, scientist, Artist, politician, leader, or a great Saint but the true knowledge of Kshetra and Kshetragya could make him successful not only in this world but also open up the gates of Salvation for him. So, it is considered as true knowledge among all kinds of knowledge and skills. A Sadhak who ponders over the real element of Paramatma 24*7*365 days and nights and has no attachment to his body; is considered as a Muni according to our Shastras. All the eight kinds of Siddhi ANIMA, MAHIMA, and GARIMA, are nothing compared to Salvation. These Siddhis create bondage. They become obstacles on the path of Spirituality and Salvation because Sadhak now wants to demonstrate his Siddhi to the world, He would create A SHOW of his achievement and power . People follow him because of miraculous achievement fascinates them. Power, prosperity, name, and fame lead him again to Sansar and Bhoga, He gets distracted from the path of Paramatma, but when a Sadhak seeks Salvation, he never tries to show off his Siddhis. A Sadhak when never gets involved in the bondage of Siddhis, could get Salvation and he could be free from the cycle of birth and death, as said by Lord Shri Krishna
But When a Sadhak is attracted to Siddhis of various kinds and forgets his Path of Paramatma what should be done?
If a leaf cannot grow or a tree cannot blossom even in the spring season, what is the fault of a Season? If an owl cannot see the Sun even in the daytime, what is the fault of the Sun? If rain cannot satisfy the thirst of a Chatak, can we blame clouds in the same way, we cannot change the future or fate of anybody just as it is well known that there is no existence of golden deer on this earth, Lord Ram ran after the golden deer. It may be that Siddhis are like golden deer and they attract a Sadhak and their Buddhi gets corrupted.
When a person runs after acquiring wealth as a Sadhak runs after acquiring Siddhis it is like a donkey's labour .If running after Siddhis and popularities become the goal of meditation, it would turn into a FALL on the path of Spirituality so it is said
Hence Saint says to a greedy person not to run after perishable things and in the same way a Sadhak should not run after Siddhi if running after wealth for a Sadhak becomes his goal and running after worldly name and fame becomes his motto or doing Tap is for acquisition of Siddhis, the goal of a Sadhak is like useless act of a dog.If running is a way to acquire wealth Siddhi, a dog who runs for the whole day and night becomes the richest creature on this earth.
We know what is truth and what is untruth like Duryodhan of Mahabharat who says I know what is wrong and what is right but I neither follow the right path nor could control myself from following the wrong Path. We all know that our body is a perishable one and Sadhak also knows that various Siddhis can be obtained but they would create obstacles on the path of Paramatma and liberation he thinks that If I am not a doer and God living within me guides me, it is HIS wish to inspire me for these kinds of activities. It is like eating whatever stuff without considering our health and blaming VAISHWANAR for not digesting it properly and making us sick.
Is this argument is logical or acceptable? Then which are the Siddhis that could mislead Sadhak on the Path of Salvation?
Let us surrender to Lord Shri Krishna to guide our way as he guided Arjun and his all devotees....Om tat Sat ...Shri Krishnajpanmastu...
