(563) How does a Sadhak see Paramatma in all?
When a pupil is blessed with knowledge of Paramatma, he would dwell in ecstasy. He expresses is joy as;
मयि सुखबोदपयोद्यौ महति ब्रह्मांडबुद् बुदसहस्त्रम्।
मायामयेन मरुता भूत्वा भूत्वापुनस्तिरोधते ।।
O Guru Dev! I am blessed. I feel as if everything is destroying in this universe and I am witness of the time of PRALAY. I feel the entire universe is filled with me. I feel myself as a part of a great ocean of universal knowledge which imparts me eternal happiness .I feel millions and trillions of universe within me and absorbing me within too. I feel illusion of wind swaying me and thousands of universes emerge and absorbing within me as bubbles . O Guru dev! with your grace, I feel myself as a part of SAT CHITT and AANAD Swaroop of Purna Paramatma and I feel unification with eternity.
Shri Krishna Paramatma says to Arjun, consider all the bright light of Sun, moon and stars emerging from me only.
यदादित्यगतं तेजो जगद्भासयतेङखिलम् ।
यच्च्न्द्रमसि सच्चाग्नौ तत्तेजोविद्धि मामकम्।।(भ.गी.१५-१२)
The same is repeated in KATHOPANISHAD when a pupil ask Guru how could I know the devotee described above has experienced this great moments in his life on the earth when he is alive. Do this kind of devotees shine differently or can they share their experience with others? To the answer of the confusion of pupils ,Guru replies that,
न तत्र सूर्यो भाति न चन्द्रतारक नेमा विद्युतो भान्ति कुतोङयमग्निः।
तमेव भ्रान्तमनुभाति सर्वं तस्य भासा सर्वमिदं विभाति ।।(कठोपनिषद २-२-१५)
When a Sadhak experiences ecstasy with Paramatma, he cannot express the happiness in words, He would be on the holy land where there is neither Sun, nor Moon, nor stars, nor lightening of clouds, and no fire is seen. But he sees the ultimate enlighted power house i.e. Paramatma source of all the lights and everything gets brighten because of HIS Presence. Everything we see in this universe with our naked eyes is floating in the air and in every particle of land, in every drop of ocean we see His presence ,as we know all the livings breath, work, roam here and there till the presence of soul -a part of Paramatma dwells within their bodies.The moment Paramatma abandons the body, the body is thrown to holy water or eaten by various creatures when buried under the land or burnt with the fire,. Mahabharat describes power of Paramatma as;
द्यौः सचन्द्रार्कनक्षत्रा खं दिशो भूर्महोदधिः।
वासुदेवस्य वीर्येण विद्युतानि महात्मनः।। (महाभारत,अनु-१४९)
Everything sky, Sun, moon, constellations, the heaven ,ten directions, earth and ocean are there because of the power of Paramatma .Shankaracharya ji says Paramatma has control over five elements but we worship; The earth- as a mother, The Sun -as a father and water ,wind and soul in Jivatma as Devtas but as the earth does not know that she is floating in the ocean because the power of Paramatma holds her, we do not accept the power of Paramatma rules over us and we are the puppets in his hands. Hence, Shankaracharya ji praises God to give him his Darshan in every particle of earth, air and water. Paramatma is worshipped by God, Saints, Rishi, Munis as the savior, controller and creator of the universe.
