(566) Why does Paramatma open up his secret to all the Jivatma via Arjun in Bhagavad Gita?
यस्मात्क्षरमतीतोङहमक्षरादपि चोत्तमः।
अतोङस्मि लोके वेदे च प्रथितः पुरुषोत्तमः।।
Paramatma says that HE is the most ancient than all the Kshar and Akshar elements in the universe, he is the best among all the Akshar too. So, Rishi Muni and Vedas describe him as PURNA PURUSHOTTAM. All the bodies, senses, minds and Buddhi are non-living elements but Para Tatva is not JAD- non -living. Actually, he is the only Chaitanya who dwells in all the non-living elements and make them living. Body is indifferent to senses, mind is indifferent to senses, intellect is indifferent to mind but they are JAD -non-living; only when Paramatma enters in various bodies they become live and active.
Three secrets of universe are disclosed by Paramatma. The first secret is; though a Jivatma is a part of Paramatma, he feels attachment to the body in which he lives temporarily and he maintains his relations with unsteady Prakriti instead of Paramatma. Second secret is that Paramatma with Prakriti takes Avtar as he controls Prakriti while Jivatma takes birth after birth under the illusion of the bondage with Prakruti as he is under the spell web of Prakruti. Thirdly, Paramatma never gets involved in any Kriya of trio- Sharir.
Lord Shri Krishna says that being UTTAM PURUSH, he is different from Kshar and Akshar and now he discloses the secret that he is that UTTAMPURUSH -Purna Purushottam. Every living body pass through child hood, youth and old age, from birth to death but soul remains as ever; there is no change in soul.
The power of Paramatma shines through Sun, moon and stars. Paramatma holds every living and non -living in the form of earth. In the Swaroop of moon, Paramatma showers nectar for plants. In the form of VAISHWANAR - fire, he helps in the process of digestion and helps in preparing ANNAMAY KOSH. He lives in the hearts of every living and he blesses us the power of knowledge and memory. He destroys our confusion and doubts. So ,he is Purushottam; Just like a father showers love on his son or a Guru showers blessing on a pupil. Shri Krishna shows the path to his beloved pupil Arjun to choose the right path of his Karma on the field of Kurukshetra.
A Sadhak of Gyan Marg attains salvation as he desires and a devotee following Bhakti Marg attains Poorna Paramatma God himself. When a devotee knows himself as a part of Paramatma, he becomes detached from Sansar following Bhakti Yoga, he becomes knowledgeable and remains busy in doing Bhajan because, he becomes STHITPRAGYA and his faith becomes unshaken because he knows and believes in Paramatma's real Swaroop but when a Sadhak who follows Gyan Yoga, he knows Paramatma but don't believe in his existence and remains confused about various philosophies of Shastras. So, the third secret is this that a Sadhak cannot attain Paramatma even after reading and learning four Vedas and all Shastras but he could attain Paramatma only through devotion to him after surrendering his trio bodies and mind, intellect, chitt and ego.
Only this fifteen Adhyay of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is considered a Shastra because Paramatma himself disclosed the secret of his Swaroop as PURNA PURUSHOTTAM. Paramatma shows us six ways to attain him. The first sloka of fifteen Adhyay says that a Sadhak should know the elements of Sansar as illusion, the fourth sloka says that a Sadhak should cut off his relation with Sansar because they are fake and he should seek surrender to Paramatma. The eleventh sloka insists a Sadhak to know soul as a Param Atma Tatva. The fourteenth sloka says that studying Vedas and doing Swadhyay regularly helps a Sadhak to know Paramatma's real Swaroop. In twenty ninth sloka Paramatma gives us a hint that a Devotee can become pure and pious by knowing his Purushottam Swaroop hence he should remain busy in singing hymns in the praise of Paramatma and the twentieth sloka says that by studying Vedas and Shastras one can know Param Tatva but he can attain Paramatma through pure devotion only.
