BONUS CHAPTER (KARLNAP)

*HELLO, IM BACK! Here is the bonus Karlnap chapter while I work on chapter 16! As I said before, nothing to do with the story line really, just extra non-dnf content.

Sapnap had decided late the night before that he was going into the city to see Karl the next day. He really missed him, and Karl kept asking when they'd see each other next, and so Sapnap had decided he was going to surprise him.

As he pulled up to the building where he knew most of the team was staying, he felt a sudden flutter of nervous energy low in his stomach. It was always crazy to him how after all this time, the very thought of seeing Karl still gave him butterflies. He tried to shake the nerves as he made his way into the building, taking the elevator up to the floor and approaching the door.

Typically, he would just walk right in, but he decided to knock. Everyone was sure to be on edge since they were still in hiding from Technoblade's team, and he didn't want to shock anyone by simply striding into the room unannounced.

Sam opened the door, and Sapnap smiled as he processed what was going on. After a moment of confusion, he threw his arms around him and yelled, "Sapnap! What are you doing here?"

With a laugh, Sapnap hugged him back and answered, "just here to visit. I miss you guys."

He felt slightly guilty for it, but he was already looking past Sam's shoulder in search of Karl, and his smile only grew when he saw him sitting on the couch with Quackity. As soon as their eyes met, Karl was jumping off the couch and rushing over. He all but pushed Sam out of his way, wrapping his arms around Sapnap's torso as he muttered, "Sapnap, you're here."

Sapnap warmed almost immediately, and he hugged him back as he responded, "I'm here."

He didn't care who could see them, despite the fact that they had never really come out into the open with their relationship. He was sure most of the team already knew, and he was so tired of hiding things. He wanted people to know he was with Karl, and so he angled Karl's face up towards his own and pressed a soft kiss to his lips.

When he pulled away, Karl's eyes were wide with surprise, but a warm smile quickly appeared. Karl had always wanted to share their relationship with the team, and Sapnap knew that. And he would do anything he could to make Karl smile at him like that.

When Karl stepped away and pulled him into the room, Sapnap took his time greeting everyone and catching up. They spent some time talking about possible future jobs, but eventually, Sapnap could see that Karl was getting restless. Without Karl even having to say a word, Sapnap could tell that he wanted to leave.

During a moment of brief silence, Karl finally spoke up, "I think Sapnap and I are going to head out for a little. We have...dinner plans."

Sapnap's eyebrows rose questioningly, but he didn't bother adding on any words of his own. They had no plans because Karl had no idea he was even coming to visit.

"Dinner plans?" Quackity asked with a knowing grin.

Karl nodded quickly, standing up and pulling Sapnap with him as he muttered, "yeah, dinner plans. We'll be back later tonight."

Sapnap let Karl pull him along by the wrist, and as they pushed open the front door, he heard Sam call out, "have a fun night, you two. We'll see you tomorrow, Karl."

Sapnap laughed as the door fell shut behind them, and he could see the pink flush on Karl's face as they got into the elevator. He always looked pretty in shades of strawberry pink, and as the elevator doors closed, Sapnap couldn't stop himself from pulling Karl close and catching his lips in a slow kiss.
