*Sapnap's perspective*
Sapnap pulled himself through the low window on the first floor of the mansion. Tommy was waiting for him on the other side, with nervous, waving hands and rushed words of, "let's go, we need to hurry up before someone finds us."
Sapnap's feet touched down on dark wood flooring, and he stepped forward to give Quackity, Tina, and Corpse room to climb in behind him. His eyes quickly crawled over the neglected space, covered in a thick layer of dust and tucked away in a far corner of the house that didn't see much usage.
It was purposely chosen by Tommy as an ideal place to sneak them in, and Sapnap hoped that Dream's group was having just as easy of a time as they were. Tubbo was helping them get in somewhere across the large property, but Sapnap couldn't spend too much time worrying when they already had a task at hand.
With his eyes turned towards Tommy, Sapnap asked, "do you know where he's keeping Karl?"
"Wilbur thinks he's on the second floor," Tommy answered in whispered tones, "in Techno's office."
Sapnap let out a slow sigh. He'd been in Technoblade's office before, and so he knew it was far more out in the open then he would have liked. But the image of Karl being tied up and tortured was enough to push him forward, and he nodded as he glanced back over his shoulder to make sure everyone was in.
Tina caught his gaze, giving him a reassuring smile as she said, "lead the way. Let's get Karl and get the hell out of here."
Sapnap gave one nod of confirmation, and then they were moving forward quietly, weapons readied as they pushed out of the room and into a hallway. Tommy checked around corners and through doorways, waving them forward and further into the depths of the mansion.
It wasn't until they were nearing the main staircase that led up to the second floor and Sapnap slowly began recognizing where they were that his stomach knotted in nervous anticipation. They were close, but there were guards in the main room, gathered around the base of the stairs in a cluster that was talking in quiet tones among themselves.
Tommy leaned back against the wall, shaking his head as he muttered, "this is gonna be a problem. There's five of them out there. I can maybe distract one or two of them and get them out of the room, but the rest are up to you."
He looked over the group quickly for a reaction, and his eyes settled on Sapnap, eyebrows raised questioningly as Sapnap answered, "it's fine, we'll take care of the rest."
Tommy nodded, pushing away from the wall as he whispered back, "okay, good. Just remember, no gunshots unless you wanna get caught. Take care of them, and get to Techno's office. I'll meet you up there."
Sapnap muttered a quick confirmation, then watched as Tommy took a slow breath and then retreated around the corner. He listened intently to muffled words and retreating footsteps, and when he dared to peek around the corner, he saw that only three guards remained. It was risky but manageable, and Sapnap waved his team forward and into the room.
With long strides, Corpse was reaching the nearest guard and silencing him with a hand clamped tightly over his mouth. Sapnap saw the glint of a switchblade, and he knew the man was as good as dead before his lifeless body was sagging to the floor. Quackity and Tina were on the second guard, but Sapnap's attention was drawn to the third and final guard.
With his breath caught in his lungs, Sapnap rushed forward, eyes dropping and catching on the hand that was disappearing into a jacket. The guard was reaching for a gun, and Sapnap's fingers were closing tightly around the guard's wrist as it reappeared, gun in hand. The guard's hand twisted in his grip, and Sapnap reeled his other fist back and collided it hard with the man's nose. The sickening crunch of bone breaking filled his ears, and the guard staggered backwards as blood came streaming down his face.
