Running back out holding Claire. I can not help the guilt that is racking me. I should have seen and known something was not right. Did I not put enough warriors at the house? Was this all a set up?

More like we have a traitor in our pack, somewhere. Niko growls in my head. Anger booms in me at the thought of someone betraying us, but he has a point and it has been weighing heavy on my mind. We have more than one person behind this in our pack.

Alastair and Nathan flank me on both sides, as we make a run around the fighting going on in the front. I don't need to get caught up in it while carrying her.

Just before we can make it off Saul's lands, wolves jump out at us. We all come to a sudden stop. Nathan and Alastair are quick to shift, while I croutch down to the ground laying Claire down.

The wolves come at us in a full on sprint. I see Saul off in the back, but I can't go after him myself. I'm not leaving Claire here on the ground like this alone.

Alastair and Nathan take on several wolves at once together.

I quickly stand, seeing three wolves headed right for me on the ground. Waiting until they are a few steps away, I jump at the closest giving his neck a fast twist. Wanting to have some room away from Claire.

I need to shift, but there is no time with two wolves jumping at the same time in my direction. One sinks its teeth into my leg and the other comes for my top.

Wrong move, I easily grab the snout of the one that came for my face. Its claws rack down my body as it tries to fight my hold. I can feel the wolf on my leg pulling me to the side. Quickly, moving my hands to the neck of the one I'm holding, I twist. Moving my attention to the one on my leg, I try to pry the jaws open before giving it a twist.

Saul moves in closer behind four more wolves. Letting out a warning growl, I hunch down closer to Claire. He has been the cause of all of this.

Alastair and Nathan must have finished theirs off, because they are right at my side. Alastair moves his small form and is over top of Claire, letting out a sound I've never heard before.

It causes the last four wolves and Saul to stop in their tracks. They stare at Alastair, only.

"What is with your pet? Can't keep it in line." Saul snears.

"He is no pet, but a loyal member of my pack." I snap out to him.

The ground shakes and the sound of paws hitting the ground comes toward us.

Greg and Cole are here! Nathan sends me a mindlink.

I can't tear my gaze from Saul, who's eyes have gone impossbily wide.

"Alastair do you have Claire?" I ask taking a glance at him.

He nods his head toward Saul.

Greg and Cole step up next me. "I'm ready to end this shit."

With that the three of us run, with one goal in mind. Bringing an end to Saul and the mess he has caused.

Warriors take out the four wolves let standing around Saul and back off quickly out of our way.

Greg aims high and Cole aims low on Saul. Leaving me the middle. We swing and land punches left and right, causing Saul to finally fall to the ground not being able to defend himself from three of us.

Wrapping my hands around his neck, I add pressure watching him turn a red and blue color. Greg moves over with Cole and pulls his arms out, pulling his joints out of socket and doing the same to his legs.

I release Saul and turn to the warriors. "Finish him." I command.

I walk back over to where Alastair is still hovering over Claire. Hearing the screams Saul lets out, with all the growling going on around us.

Alastair moves, so I can see Claire. She seems so small laying on the ground. Bending over, I scoop her up into my arms and take off towards our home.

I need you to be ready for us doc. I have Claire and she is unconscious, there was a white liquid injected into her. Alastair believes it may be potassium. I mindlink our pack doctor.

I will be waiting outside for your arrival Alpha. He replies immediately.

I pick up the pace running as fast as I can without moving Claire to much.

Alastair keeps up with us easily, staring at Claire the entire time.

Listen. Mate's heartrate is slowing. It's to slow! Niko starts panicking in the back of my mind.

It sets in my own panic, listening to how slow her heart is beating right now. I will my legs to go faster.

Just when the pack house comes into sight, I move straight to where Doc is waiting with a gurney and nurses on standby.

"Lay her down here, Alpha." Doc orders.

For once, I am more then willing to let someone order me around that is someone lower in ranks then me.

Nurses push me back, as Doc goes about examining Claire right here out in the open.

Pack members run from the doors off to the side watching what is going on. Nathan and Alastair both place their hands on my shoulders, trying to keep me back to give the doctor and nurses room to work.

Doc starts shouting out orders to the nurses on what to do. All I can see is bodies moving, but can no longer see Claire with so many around her.

Niko pushes wanting to see and keep our eyes on her, just as much as I want to right now.

"It's happening." Alastair mumbles out.

"What?" Nathan asks him.

My mind is only on Claire and I don't have it in me to respond to either of them. I try to strain my ears to keep listening to her heart beat, but it is to loud.

"The dream. It is coming true." Alastair mumbles.

All of a sudden everyone stops moving, just as I can finally pick up Claire's heartbeat it is just barely thumping. Moving over to see her laying on the bed with all the wires and IV's attached to her. I reach out wanting to touch her, but stop just as the monitors start going off.

Her heart stops.
