I collapse to the ground

I collapse to the ground. Niko is howling in the back of my mind and it is so mornful.

Everything is going on so quickly, around me. People are moving around and the doctor is shouting orders left and right.

I feel hands grab me and pull me back, out of the way. Alastiar keeps his hand on my shoulder. Looking over to Nathan, he is flat out crying.

Tears springs to my eyes, watching them remove her shirt and placing paddles on her chest.

No one moves a muscle other then the doctor. Holding my breath, I watch as her body jumps from the shock. Each passing minute, sadness takes over more and more.

On the fourth shock, the monitor finally starts beeping again. Doc takes the gurney and pushes her inside quickly.

My legs move with her, but a nurse is pushing me back.

"Please Alpha. You must stay out here in the waiting room. We have to let the doctor find out what her condition is." The nurse begs me.

Alastair and Nathan are right on my heels. I look back at the nurse and just give a small nod of my head. She visably realxes and rushes through the doors they took Claire through.

Dragging my feet, I move over to a chair and let myself fall into it.

Mates, here. She is back. Mate didn't leave us! Niko starts jumping around.

Calm down, we still don't know what shape she is in. I try and talk to him, but he is to happy to just know her heart is still beating and here with us.

"She will be okay, Alpha." Alastair talks up.

I look up and see he is sitting in front of me. While Nathan and Layla are next to him. When did she even come in? Looking at her, I can see her eyes are swollen and red from crying. I wish I could join her in crying right now.

"We won't know until the Doctor comes out." I whisper. I can't talk much louder or my voice will crack.

"Tyler, I have seen this. No matter how hard we fought the dreams, I've had they are coming more and more to light." Alastair gives me a sad look.

It does nothing to help my nerves, everything anyone says goes in one ear and right out the other.

Hailey comes busting through the doors, causing all three of us men to jump to our feet. She launches herself at Alastiar.

"Good grief you are all covered in blood!" She exclaims, a bit to loudly.

I sit back in the chair. All I can do is wait and that is exactly what I am going to do.

I have no clue how much time has past when Layla walks up and stoops down in front of me holding a first aid kit.

"We have to tend to you too." Is all she says as she reaches for my leg.

I let her do whatever it is she wants to do to the cuts and scratches on my leg and arms. I really don't care at the moment about myself. If it helps them to stay busy, who am I to stop them? We all cope in our own ways and right now mine is just focusing on hearing any footsteps coming to this waiting room.

The door opens, and the doctor walks out to us. Layla moves away from my leg quickly, so I can stand and meet him.

"What is it? How is she?" I start asking.

"The Luna, was indeed injected with potassium and the state she was in, it was to much for her body. That is why her heart stopped. There is several areas that are bruised and already in the healing process or just about completely healed. The Luna also was severely dehydrated, and from the looks of it starved." He stops.

There is gasps let out among Hailey and Layla. Relief floods me knowing that she is still here. Anger is there at what she has went through, Saul's death was not as long as it should have been.

"Can I see her now?" I ask, but comes out more of a command.

"Of course Alpha this way." The doctor bows his head.

I follow in behind him, but he is walking to slow. I quickly step around him and follow her scent to the last room in the hall.

Stepping in, I see her laying on the bed. She doesn't have as many monitors. There is only one and a IV. It almost looks like she is just laying there asleep.

Rushing to her side, I pick up her hand. Feeling the tingles her skin leaves on mine. Letting out a deep breath, it finally feels like I can breath.

"It is expected she will be waking soon and will have a full recovery. She is healing much faster, than I thought she would." The doctor says, clearing his throat.

I listen as his footsteps fade away. Pulling up the chair, I sit as close to her as I possibly can. I watch her chest raise with each breath she takes.

Footsteps bring my attention away from Claire, seeing it is Alastair. He pulls a chair up and sits in it, staring at her.

Nathan follows in next, and stands the end of her bed.

We all just stare at her, watching for any movement.

"Isn't it creepy if we are all staring at her and she wakes up?" Nathan let's a little laugh out.

Alastair breaks first in a laughing fit.

"Leave it to you Nathan." I chuckle, shaking my head.

"Well got to do something. Laughing is better than crying." He sighs.

"You are very true, yes." Alastair agrees.

"I am just glad she is going to be okay." I look up and they all nod.

"The physical will heal, but mentally may take some time. What she went through, she may need time." Alastair all the wise says.

"Well then we will keep her laughing and all will be well." Nathan's reponses.

Crazy the lot of you humans. Niko puffs out.

"I will be whatever she needs me to be. I'm not wanting her out of my sight again." I say for the others to hear.

"There is things we need to discuss, yes. Sadly, not much time to prepare." Alastair looks over to Claire.

"The Legend." My eyes go wide, looking at Claire.
