I couldn't get the four boys out of my head, there was something about them. I felt like I knew them from somewhere, but couldn't place it. I tried to push it to the back of my mind as I unpacked. Not only did I get this mansion but I also got what was left of my birth mothers stuff. A bunch of pictures drawn by someone named Sam, a locket and an old red dirt bike.  As I finished unpacking the last box I heard a strange noise coming from the second floor. I hadn't been up there yet. As I walked up the stares I saw a black shadow run across into a room. I kept telling myself it's probably an animal or something, sure enough is was a black cat with bright green eyes.
It came up to me and I grabbed it and looked the cat over. "Your probably hungry, poor thing. " the cat meowed back.
I went to the kitchen and grabbed a can of tune that I had brought with me. The cat instantly jumped out of my hands and started to eat. I grabbed my bag and opened it to find my book was missing. I started to panic I dumped my bag in the kitchen floor, the cat was unfazed by the sound my the contents falling from my bag.  Did I drop it? Did I leave it at the boardwalk? A million thoughts were running through my head.
All I know is I have to find it, it had my entire life wrote down in it. What if someone found it and read what I wrote down about my birth mother and all her crazy talk? They'll think I'm crazy too.
I decided to head down to the boardwalk retrace my steps. The sun was just setting I knew I had to get there quick so I grabbed the keys to the red dirt bike and I was off.
