I sat there listening to their stories, with each story something in me started to click. Like I've known them way before they were vampires. But that's impossible. David hadn't said one word since he got there. Which was odd because he's always barking orders. When everyone was finished I started to clear the table. " you guys can look around if you want there's not a whole lot." I had said while putting the dishes in the sink. Paul had walked up and handed me the rest of the plates. " here you go doll." He chuckled as he winked at me.
Why did he call me that? I'm still trying to figure out if I could trust them. Just then I heard Marko say something about the sliding door. " what's out there."  I walked over and said  the green house. It still needs a little work but it's getting there. Before I knew it they were all outside. The green house was filled with dead flowers and plants on one side and the other was completely clean and had fresh soil with a little tag sticking out of each flower bed.
"You must really like flowers." Paul commented
"Well actually I do, it's something about nature that calms me, helps me stay sane in this messed up world." I said happily. David had picked up a piece of paper off the ground. It looked like the paper the frog brothers had given me. " what's this?" He said with a hint of betrayal in his voice. I walked over and looked at the paper. " just some guys phone number. They tried to tell me to stop hanging around you guys. Some how they knew what you guys are."
I could see the blue in David's eyes turn gold and his face became all distorted. "Those damn frog brothers, not this shit again!" He yelled at the top of his voice. " what are you talking about David? I yelled back. Once he heard me yell his eyes slowly started to turn back to blue. " it's a long story doll face." I already knew who said that it was Paul he's the only  one calling me pet names. I looked back at David. I could see a tear running down his cheek. "Come on boys let's leave Rin alone now. Let's go feed." They all walked out of the green house leaving me there questioning what just happened.
