Part 27: Who will she be. (Davids pov)

It's been days since the blood moon and Rin was still not waking up. All night I would sit by her side waiting to see her open her eyes. I would sit and read to her some nights while the boys went out to feed or just to go to the boardwalk. Edgar and Alan would take turns during the day watching her. I never would have thought I would be Allies with them. After that night sam had disappeared, laddie withered away after the bond was completely broken. I don't know how they did it. I was still in shock. I started telling Rin about the mischief the boys had gotten into from the night before when suddenly she moved a finger.
  "Rin? Rin?" I started to panic thinking I was imagining things. " I'm sorry Rin, I told you I would stop at nothing to keep you safe and I couldn't. I should have just told you when I had the chance. Your the most remarkable girl I have ever had the pleasure to know. After all these years of being a vampire I felt the most  alive when your near. I just wish you could wake up, so I can tell you I love you."
   The boys were walking into the cave. " no change?" Paul asked . I looked at him and said no. "You should go feed David it's been days." Dwayne had said walking over to the other side of Rin. " we'll watch her till you get back." Marko chimes in.  I simply nodded and got up " your right." I left the cave without saying another word. I wasn't hungry but I knew I had to feed to keep my strength up. As I was leaving the cave about to get on my bike I heard someone call my name.
  " David." It was Sam he had came back. " how is she? Is she okay?" " No she's not okay she's not waking up!" I said as I started my bike. " I'm sorry I left that night it took a lot out of me and I didn't know what to do. I'm use to running, laddie chased me all over the world." " it's fine the boys are with her if you want to go see her." " I think I'll wait till daylight. I don't know how the others would feel if I just walked in." Knowing what he meant by that I left. Rode into the night with one person on my mind.
