Part 30: The night after

I woke up with the worst pain in my stomach. I knew what that meant I had to feed. I looked over and saw David peacefully sleeping. I didn't want to wake him. I laid back down trying to fall asleep. I could feel David wrap his arms around me and just like that the pain had vanished. Or so I thought.
This time I woke up screaming David instantly woke up and tried to calm me down. " I'm hungry, my stomach hurts." I said very weakly. " you need to feed. He said. He opened the door slightly and noticed the boys weren't in the elevator shaft. It must be dark out he carried me out to the couch. " What's wrong?" " she needs to feed dumbass " Paul said hitting Marko in the back of the head.
      I knew what I had to do, but could I do it. David carried me up the stairs onto his bike we took off like a bullet coming out of a gun barrel. We found a group of a secluded couple. We walked towards them my arm around David's neck. "Hey could we rest here for a second, my girl she drank to much and were kinda lost. " David had asked. The guy said sure getting up to grab the extra blanket and laid it down. " thank you"I said.
   I could feel the urge growing inside of me David said hold on not much longer as the guy turned his back David lunge towards the guy sinking his teeth into him. He ran over grabbed the girl and brought her to me. " I'm so sorry about this." I said before feeling my fangs come in, I tilted her head to the side exposing her pulsating vein and I dove right in. The feeling was euphoric, I never felt such power before. I looked over at David as he threw the man into the fire, he grabbed the girl and threw her in. Along with their stuff.
   " we need to clean up" I looked down at myself and saw the blood on my hands I could feel the blood in my face. We walked to the water and dove in. I grabbed onto David and we stood there kissing for awhile. I know he was proud because he said that's my girl.
    We went back to the cave. When I asked a question. Why don't we get out of here? live somewhere else. Travel the world. They all stared at David and he said yeah why don't we. We took off into the night leaving Santa Carla behind. I ended up giving the house to Sam. He didn't have to run anymore. And now with the vampire out of Santa Carla for awhile he could relax. We made our way to Nevada, there were so many lights we of course had to hide and rest during the day but it wasn't that hard.
Dwayne was excited to back in his home town. The boys were finally seeing the world, we were unstoppable or so we thought. But that story is for another time........
