Part 17: Who am i?

"Hey, I thought I told you to stay away from her!" It was Alan walking out of the comic book shop, Edgar was right behind him. When did he tell them to stay away from me? " Look you two let's not do this in front of the lady." Marko said trying to ease the tension. I walked over to David. " what's going on David?" He looked over at me and I can see it in his eyes that something was up. " Look the other night when you saw us Alan, something happened to Rin. We didn't do it but we got there in time to help her." David started to explain " What do you mean something  happened?" Edgar said as he push his way through. " she heard a voice in her head, who ever it was showed some stuff like images or flashes or things...." David didn't even get to finish before Alan chimes in" SHIT SHIT SHIT, this is what I was afraid of Edgar. I told star to not go looking for her." I got closer to the frog brother " what do you mean this is what you were afraid of?" " look come back tomorrow night the sun is gonna be rising soon and it's a long story. Best to be told when there's more time . Plus your  friends here can't be out in it." Edgar said before turning towards the comic book app and closing it gates.
   I hoped onto David's bike, we raced to the cave.  I looked at the boys and told them I was gonna go home for the night. Marko let me take his bike home. He told me he'd fly and get it later once the sun had gone back down. I walked over to David grabbed his hand and looked at him. I couldn't quite get a read on him in that moment but something was telling me to go for it. I inched closer to him wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. I hurried up and back away starting Markos bike and drove towards home. Did I just do that? Did I just kiss a vampire?
" looks like someone enjoyed themselves tonight. I have a gift for you it's on your table." I unlocked the door an walked inside . There on my table was a box. It looked old. There was a picture inside it. I held the picture and I could see Star and micheal with a little boy. The boy was holding the teddy bear. " now do you know who I am?" Laddie I said out loud. " bingo. Your mother made a promise to me. A long time ago. After they killed max and Lucy I was free of them. I waited awhile before leaving. Only to find myself drawn into some pretty dark stuff.  Once she found out she was pregnant she came to me for help." " help what do you mean help." " like I said I was into some dark stuff. She had me put a curse on you more like a spell actually. When I did that it linked you and I together mentally. I told her the spell would have a price. The price was her life. " you drove her insane?" " oh no dear child , she did that to herself. With each passing day as you grew up she became weaker and weaker." " child really laddie? I'm 21 I'm not a child." " that's right you are 21. Time flies by when your stuck on the sidelines watching someone ignore every sign you give them. It's 2008 Rin how big of a sign do you need?" " what do you want from me laddie? What did she promise you?" " you! She promised you ! I was suppose to be your mentor and showing you the way. Once I saw you take an interest in flowers and herbs I knew it wouldn't be long." " she promised me?" I fell to the floor not knowing what to think. " you'll have to make a choice Rin. Them or me and since you were promised to me I won't stop till that promised is  kept. Good morning Rin. I'll be seeing you soon."  It got very quiet I held the picture in my hand studying it over and over again. It looked like it was taken in the cave. I slowly got up off the floor and made my way  to the bathroom. I shut the door. And slide down the door and cried. I was to scared to move. How could she do this to me? What did he mean by dark stuff ? Like magic? What does my flowers have to do with all of this?
