je te laisserai des mots,
en-dessous de ta porte

en-dessous de la lune qui chante,
tout près de la place où tes pieds passent

je te laisserai des mots

Your teeth clenched as you swung back home, your body becoming clammy and exhausted the more you used your new ability.

"Your ability is becoming unstable, you should stop and get some rest." Dawn states. Looking down at yourself, you found your form flickering in and out of camouflage, making you hiss out in frustration.

Choosing to stay silent, you pushed forward, feeling the fatigue flooding in. You can't afford being spotted by Chat Noir. You're both going in the same direction, it won't be ideal if he hears you again.

Mind too focused on getting back to Alya's place, the sound of your web-shooters giving out went unnoticed by you. You yelled out in shock as you felt your body fall, repeatedly pushing the button in hopes to get it working again.

The wind was knocked out of you as you landed on top of a building's roof. "Okay, yeah. . . Let's take a break." You wheezed out, tugging the mask off to get a breath of fresh air.

You weren't sure how long you laid there, staring up at the sky. The cool breeze on your skin was too good. Not too strong or too cold. It was perfect. The stars twinkling above you did no good in getting you home, a memory playing in your head.

"Pete, you know how I feel about the cold!" You whined, teeth chattering as you followed Peter up the fire escape. You hated the cold, especially after your spider bite. It made you all that more vulnerable to it.

"I know, I know, but we're almost there! See?" He points to the top of the apartment building, making you groan out. Your complaining came to a stop when his warm hand enveloped yours, pulling you the rest of the way up, making sure you didn't run away.

You hated how easily he could sway you with the smallest of touches. It wasn't often you got to hold his hand, but when you do, you couldn't find yourself to let go. Not when it was so cold and he was so warm.

"Are you going to tell me what this is about or are you just going to shove me off the building?" You joked, trying your best to get rid of the heat in your cheeks. It wasn't too hard considering how damn cold it is.

Oh, god, but it sure was hard to at the sound of his boyish giggle, your face stretching with a smile--heart swooning for more. "You've been pushing yourself way too much recently." He says, turning to face you when you reached the top. "Close your eyes?"
