Chapter 19: Potions Brothel

"Where the fuck is the stone!?" Shouted Da Bing as he threw the books from the shelf down. He was in raged and no one in the room were brave enough to face him.

Da Bing turned to butler Yao before he grabbed him by the collar and pulled him closer.

"You hoe, where did you hid it? It must be with you, right!?" Da Bing asked.

Butler Yao glares at him with fear.
"I- I really don't know"

Back then when Xiao Zhan has a free time, he used to run around at the backyard near his chamber where there will be a fish pond, flowers garden and also a big tree with a handmade swing. It's a wide backyard to his liking but it's comfortable. Yet it can't beat the scenery they had in Biyu stronghold. The days passed, everyone were pratically doing their own things. Weird, isn't it? Shouldn't they be worrying about the fact they still haven't found Xiao Zhan, the two intruders from Nan Hai and the owner of Rongyao, Zhu Zanjin?

Xiao Zhan chuckled, he walked through the empty town in Xiao Hu. He still thinking about who could be behind all of this and if all of his guess is actually right, then what is the reason? If his uncle were behind all of this, why did he had to put so much effort to kill his own brother, sister-in-law, niece. Just what is he thinking that he could harmed his own family? The one that love him the most. If not he, then who else would it be? They probably hiding inside the palace. Was it someone he know? Plus butler Yao, he had find butler Yao being suspicious for almost everyday and yet he don't have any specific evidence to prove them wrong. Xiao Zhan sighed, shaking his head dissapointedly. Later he heard a loud cries and saw someone got kicked out of a building.

He looked up and realised it's the famous brothel in Xiao Hu, Potions Brothel. He rushed towards the girl who lying down on the ground. He helped her out.

"Are you alright?" Xiao Zhan asked, voice filled with concerned.

The lady in a way, shook her head. She looked so miserable as if she got bullied by the people inside the brothel.

Xiao Zhan brought her away from the brothel, they went into one inn that still open and he let her settle down. He rubbed her shoulders, giving support mentally. Of course, he couldn't do anything much, just give the lady some comfort probably would be enough for a moment.

"What happened? I saw you got kicked out by the people from the brothel earlier," he said.

The lady were known as Meng Ziyi, a normal villager. She just moved into the town not long ago. She only lived with her stepsister which also could be the reason she was there in the brothel.

"I just tried to get my sister back, they took her away," she said, looking more despondent.

She looked up at Xiao Zhan, holding onto his shoulders hard, "You have to help me. I can't let those filthy men touch her. She still young!" She said shaking Xiao Zhan.

Xiao Zhan nodded, taking her hand into his own warm hand. He comforted her.

"Tell me more about your sister, I'll go get her back" he said.

Few hours later he entered the brothel, dressed in more grand way. Having his hair made, clothes changed to black and golden line, wearing a black veil hats. Matching all his clothes perfectly. This way, the workers in the brothel will give him more access to pick any lady he wanted. Obviously everyone can pick anyone they like, it just if he happen to arguing with someone for the same lady.

The ladies ran at him, touching him everywhere but he pushed them away gently. Maybe those are the real workers at first, the friendly and willingly type. He checked the surrounding, Meng Ziyi said most of the kidnapped girls would stayed inside their room or wandering upstairs.
